Recently, I finished watching 'Shogun'. Actually, I watched all the episodes twice. That was an amazing show. Scrupulous historical research, breathtaking costumes, gigantic sets, props, everything is perfect. It is impeccable. I understand again how great American movie production is.
And I'm sure even any native Japanese movie maker couldn't do this. We hats off and bow deep.

I really badly want to see if this allows visitors but I am so scared it will already be scrapped like so many other beautiful sets of other movies.

Indeed. However, the production of the sequel to this great show has started over.

Oh, forgot to mention, I am in Oregon and Vancouver is just a day drive. Told the wife about it a couple hours back and she is on board for a road trip so now we just find out if they are allowing site tours.
