So I sent my screenshots to Comic Con...It's all in their hands now...hopefully they can do something for me...although I kinda doubt it.
What address did you send to?
I clicked at 9 AM, finally at 10:01 AM I was shown as #23060. Never updated from there, just froze! :angry Tried calling the number, as the directions stated to call if there was an issue. Sure enough busy, busy, busy (35 times) then got through!! :confused... to voicemail!! :lol
Around Noon, they posted on FB sold out...still was at #23060!!!!!!!! :angry
I understand so, so many people are trying to get tickets, however, the system they use needs to accommodate that. It's not like they didn't know what traffic they'd have. The EPIC system is insufficient to accomplish this. Comic-con has been using them since 2008, I believe.
As well, it's not like they don't get feedback every year about what doesn't work during these registrations. It's all over FB, Twitter and the like.
I was able to attend last year, and went to the feedback session. I, as did many others there, complained about the system and how it needs to handle the load and clearly communicate the opportunity to purchase, and the Comic-Con rep there seemed very uninterested. It's almost as if they know they'll sell-out, so not concerned. As well, it only adds to the publicity.
Well, I'll still try for the returned tickets when they post them, but likely the first year since 1995 that I won't be going. :unsure
