Captain America: Civil War

Scene from the comics I hope will make it to the film:
It's a long shot but, in the comic, Frank Castle (The Punisher) joins up with Captain America's underground movement but then instantly shoots and kills some supporters who were villains who had joined believing in the principle. Captain America proceeds to beat up Frank Castle. Castle just takes the beating refusing to fight back out of respect for Captain America represents - the iconic soldier from a different war. I always found that scene poignant.

There's no reason why they couldn't have that in some form. By the time Civil War is released DD season 2 would have aired. Then I thought about the easter egg that might have been in Winter Soldier: http://www.cinemablend.com/new/Did-...ier-Contain-Secret-Superhero-Cameo-67223.html
Hmm ....

Some early reviews have called the movie an "emotional horror movie" and called the last act "physically and emotionally brutal."

My excitement for this movie just went through the roof.

I was really afraid they'd play it super safe and have it basically be Avengers 2.5 with the "war" not meaning anything in the long run.. From the reviews, it sounds like an actual Captain America movie, with a devastating ending. I'm really looking forward to seeing how it plays out.

I really think the performances could be so riveting in this by Chris Evan and RDJ that they could be Oscar worthy. I really enjoyed Winter Soldier because it just seemed to be a great 70's spy movie that just happened to star Captain America. Everything I have read about this could be a huge platform to really elevate the genre.

Another scene from the comics I'm certain will be in the movie:

When Steve pulls a sucker move on Tony to get the drop on him. Shaking hands but planting a device that disables his armor.

I'll bet that device is the same EMP device wielded by the Black Widow to take out the Winter Soldier's arm.

I'll also bet that's when Cap gives Tony that black eye.

I am excited by this news too. But I always felt like the "war" will be a theme throughout Phase 3. Our Heroes only reconcile their differences when they need to join together to stop Thanos.

I cant stop watching it, so much awesomeness

Scarlet Witch using magic, Ant-Man in action, Black Panther fighting, Spidey! And a nice call back to the alley fight in the First Avenger

So Spidey is going to be a CGI costume?

Really wish they had gone with Romita Jr eyes, but Romita Sr eyes are fine. Just please none of that MacFarlane crap!! Just don't care for them actually moving like in the cartoon.

I like that Spidey's mask is based on the design of John Romita Sr. One big change I was hoping for has now happened. No raised webbing, like in the comics.

Oh and Ant-Man riding on Hawkeye's arrow, so cool :)

Great stuff. Looks like its going to be an emotional journey. "The whole world was wrong about you." - that's pretty cutting isn't it. Och.

I had more chills from this trailer than any other trailer I've ever seen for any movie.
