Captain America: Civil War

That trailer was awesome! So amazing to finally see a long-time Sony-imprisoned favorite in with the mix, too!

It even has the classic back-spider!

THIS trailer is where it's at. The first one felt way too much like "FRIENDSHIP!!!" which I think detracts from the gravity of the Civil War source material. I am glad to see that most of this film will not be that.

-Loved the throwback to The First Avenger
-Loved Ant-Man riding Hawkeye's arrow
-Hated the animated eyes on Spidey.

My reaction was so quick. I inhaled with a gasp of joy at the reveal of Spider-Man, and then immediately exhaled in an exasperated sigh when the eyes moved. And that is not from a replica prop point of view; I have never made a Spidey costume (though I'm sure there is plenty of relief out there because there appears to be no raised details on this one). I dislike it because it looks way out of place next to the stark realism used in all the other costumes.

Holy crap. This trailer has me through the roof excited for this movie. I've been anticipating this movie for a while, but that trailer has me in 100% now.

Looks good, though the Spidey eyes are...weird. I don't get that, unless it's, like, a Stark suit thing, and the eyes are somehow, I dunno, linked to his pupils or whatever.

I still think it's weird how they're showing all of the destruction and making it seem like The Avengers caused it.
NYC - Aliens. If they didn't stop it the Chitauri would have leveled NYC and continued on.
DC - Hydra. Infiltrated THE GOVERNMENT. The helicarrier crashing was going to kill millions of people. Stopped by Cap.
Sokovia - Ultron. Created BY STARK. Avengers cleaned up the mess and prevented a global extinction event.
So... how would the US government/military have done things differently if they were calling the shots for the Avengers? The world council was ready to NUKE NYC and was duped by Hydra. General Ross' previous attempts to capture the Hulk usually resulted in a lot of destruction. Granted it was caused by the Hulk but because they provoked him... and created Abomination.

Yeah... still siding with Cap on this one. Seems like he's the only one seeing clearly.

Oh... and did Stark call Spidey "underoos"?
Spider-Man looks like unfinished CGI.

Loved, loved, loved the trailer BUT I'm pretty sure they just bought Spidey's suit from an online zentai store.

If you listen closely when his eyes change size there's a noise akin to a shutter closing on a camera, that may be the in-world reason for it. Could have eyes that change size to let in light, focus, etc.

Yep, rewatched this closely and its similar to the tiny areas of Iron Man suit that move around near the fingers etc - advanced tech on his eyes. Not certain how they will explain that in story, but I assume that Spiderman reached out to Tony Stark in NYC?

Wow, this looks good. I'm anxious to see what Scarlet Witch is doing to Vision, and I actually love the look of Spidey. Not a big Spider-man fan, but I'm glad to see his debut in this universe.

Love the Spidey costume & the eyes,....going back to his roots,....."Spider-man,..Spider-man,...does whatever a spider can"

They want The Avengers to answer to someone, and since they never fill out a report after each victory, they are the scapegoat and it all falls on them. Even though they saved the world, no faction gets credit except the Avengers themselves, which makes the gov't mad, it makes them look bad. So, making them agents/soldiers, they can read headlines like "Ross and HIS Avengers save the day" instead of "The Avengers save the world while all the world's governments and military stood by"

Hey, pal, if I don't like, I don't like it. Have the courtesy of letting someone post their opinion without criticizing it. If you want to disagree with that opinion, that's fine, but don't knock me for saying it.
