Captain America: Civil War

Even though they saved the world, no faction gets credit except the Avengers themselves, which makes the gov't mad, it makes them look bad. So, making them agents/soldiers, they can read headlines like "Ross and HIS Avengers save the day" instead of "The Avengers save the world while all the world's governments and military stood by"

That I can believe... because it sounds JUST like the government.
I can also see all of this being a ruse with Ross' real goals being to control the Avengers and therefore control the Hulk (even though he's on hiatus).

The trailer is cut really well, but looking close a lot of the scenes don't match up so I'm sure a lot of what we're seeing and hearing is being taken way out of context.
Like when Tony says "I was wrong about you... the world was wrong about you." I have a feeling that's not actually directed at Cap and is some sort of final resolution with him and maybe Bucky when he realizes he's been getting played by the government/Ross all along.

If you listen closely when his eyes change size there's a noise akin to a shutter closing on a camera, that may be the in-world reason for it. Could have eyes that change size to let in light, focus, etc.

Yep, rewatched this closely and its similar to the tiny areas of Iron Man suit that move around near the fingers etc - advanced tech on his eyes. Not certain how they will explain that in story, but I assume that Spiderman reached out to Tony Stark in NYC?

I would buy that, though admittedly I do not hear the sound effect you are referring to, Neoproks. I guess it just took me by surprise, but I will have faith that they'll justify it somehow.

Instead of raised webbing, we did indented webbing? Completely game changing. 10/10

I kid of course. I look forward to seeing the real suit, assuming they have a practical suit at all. As of now, it certainly doesn't look bad to me.

Since I know there's a Damage Control series in the works, I'm hoping all the "superhero battle collateral damage" outrage that sparks things in this movie leads to the formation of that group after everything settles out from this...

Struth !!!!!! That trailer had my spidey senses tingling!!!! Sometimes its been hard for films to do justice to the comic scope and vision and then sometimes they smack the ball right out of the airport!!! The Winter Soldier looks like it has a worthy successor!!!! Better get my ticket booked!!!

While it's a plausible explanation... it seems weird to have what looks to be a fabric costume with just that little bit of tech for his eyes... when he's done fine in the past with regular "lenses" for the eyes.

Not that it changes how amped I am about this movie but the Spider-Man reveal seems forced. I hoped that there's more leading up to that with Spidey and it's not like they just picked him up hitchhiking on their way to a big battle like it seems in the trailer.

Oh, and what/where is THIS place?

I'm surprised at the gravity of RDJ's performance. His cry out as Rhodey falls from the sky is chilling.
I think we're going to see him set aside the smarmy wit for the first time and bust out those famous acting chops of his.

I believe it's Stark's prison for enhanced people. It'll probably be named after an existing Marvel comics prison, like the Raft or Vault or something.

Last trailer looks good, though not a massive improvement compared to the previous one. I give it two :thumbsup for the Ant-Man on arrow shot and Spidey reveal, the new costume is my 2nd favorite live action costume behind ASM2.

Also I've seen the homemade costume he'll wear prior to Stark giving him the hero suit, it looks pretty crappy - blue zentai suit with sleeveless dark hoodie, hood for mask and goggles, and I dunno why but he's also wearing boots. A bit of a nod to the Reilly Scarlet Spider but different colors. I suspect 99% of people here will build replicas of the hero suit.

Worth noting he also has pretty high tech web shooters attached to his wrist. It's not just the lenses.

It'll definitely be interesting seeing how/if they explain him getting/making the costume and tech. Perhaps as some have speculated Tony supplied the tech upgrades to his existing fabric costume?

Yeah, I think its pretty safe to say that Tony gives spidey the tech considering he basically calls him into the fray. Im torn on the lenses though. Spider-man is my most favorite hero, and I still think the ASM2 suit, is the best iteration live action can take. Aside from the spider on his chest being a tad low, everything about that costume is flawless, so Im a little bias. DC was wise to change the release date of BvS cause man. This move would have blown that movie out of the water. Looks like everyone has a mad on for Bucky too. I wonder what he did in Wakanda to **** off Black Panther. Seriously though, this trailer got me SO PUMPED. The person that made it deserves a raise, it did exactly what it was supposed to do, get me hyped. I didnt think it revealed too much at all.

Got me much more hyped than the last trailer, but ever since we've learned the Russos were directing I was fairly certain it will be one of Marvel's best movie. One thing I don't like is the animated Spidey eyes. Mechanical shutters or not, what's the reason behind them ? Unlike deadpool where you just roll with it due to the nature of the film, they better have a good explanation for why he needs them. Not gonna make me appreciate this movie less, but it might make my own eyes roll if they did it just for the heck of doing it or for pure fan service.

Haha.... Ya, I'm so spaced out today I thought "Why does he need mechanical web shooters, he has organic web shooters", not thinking that was a Raimi Spider-Man thing. I'm getting senile in my old age I guess.
Still not in love with the costume... too bright and red. I like TASM 1 & 2 suits the best.

Looks good, though the Spidey eyes are...weird. I don't get that, unless it's, like, a Stark suit thing, and the eyes are somehow, I dunno, linked to his pupils or whatever.

I've watched it a few times(like 10 lol), and I swear you can hear some mechanical noise as they squint or change focus or whatever he's doing.

ETA:
And "DOH!" for all the others who already mentioned it...
