BTTF Futaba Delorean Remote Project

Mike,

Images received, thanks. They will be a great help. Looks like they soldered directly to the terminals on the back of the vintage Stanley display and didn't heat shrink them or anything. I'll do a similar test and see how we end up.

Gary

Gary I'll shoot you over blue ray shots a little later

Any status update on this project? Is there already a possibility to pre-order kits? I'm in for two of these for sure!

Just finishing up my remote. I still have apply the labels and wire it up:

Wow, looks fantastic! What about these kits? Is there still a run going to happen? I do have two green remote's waiting to be transformed!

I honestly don't know if a run will happen or not. I'm limited on time right now to do a large number of these and already have about 4-5 that need to be assembled for "off-board" work.

I'll be sure to post when I have more info.

It's ok. I'm in no hurry to finish mine anyway right now since I'm in the process of making another newspaper set. But I am still in for the remote parts whenever they are ready.

I'm not in a hurry too. I also contacted Coulombe a while a go and he could sell a kit for the remote too. But if I look to the pictures here, I guess a kit from "the RPF community" will be more screen accurate than one of Coulombe...

All Coulombe will do is sit around and let the RPF do the dirty work, then he will either come up with something "close" based on our research, reverse engineer a set someone gets here, or outright recast it. And then he'll give you a COA saying he's the best at it.

That's how he's always rolled in the BTTF Hobby.
