Small update, but important...
We're ramping back up on the Futaba project. Just got off the phone with my friend working on my electronics package and he's going to see about getting the complete system up and working ASAP. We are going to see how feasible it will be for a run of control units. Hopefully they will have integrated sound as well. The plan is for all of this to fit into the Unibox with the four 9v being hooked up in parallel for a good duration of charge.
I'm getting a package of the displays and circuit boards together for him this weekend and will have that out ASAP.
I'll have another update as soon as I can.

The package I intend to send out this weekend for my electronics guy should give a pretty good idea what will be in the "kit" as well.
Ideally, we'd like to put together two versions:
1. Builders kit - circuit board, molex w/ replica stop lens, COMPLETE Stanley display and support
2. Complete Add-on - all you do is supply a Futaba, 4 9v batteries and put on a completed package.
Absolutely no idea on the price and this isn't the thread for that type of discussion anyway

What a bargain!..$4!! where did you find it? I have been checking ebay since Daniel mentioned what model to get. Saved search feature my butt
It looks like the rolls of tape I ordered have gone missing. Seller said they would ship more if these didn't turn up. I gave it an extra week but no luck.
Give it a couple more weeks. :lol
I saw that same Rotex on eBay, because I still have a saved search for it.
I had a feeling someone here would get it. :cool
