... the carton was a little damaged but the parts and decals are in perfect shape...
It only took 6 days for my Falcon to arrive buts its been almost two weeks for the T-70 and both are from the same seller....
Yep, the box did what it was supposed to do--protect the contents. Beyond that, once I get the kit built I couldn't care less about the box it came in, so it'll probably end up in the trash anyway. :lolGreat! That's what counts most. You could iron out the dents of the box, or scan it, photoshop the wrinkles out of it and print is as a poster.
Received my first order of Bandai SW kits today from an eBay seller, and:
- average cost per kit was 95% of what HLJ's Japanese site is charging, at the current yen/USD exchange rate;
- EMS shipping and customs added 34% per kit, so I paid 29% more than what HLJ charges before shipping;
- HLJ's EMS shipping usually adds about 30% per kit, so not being able to buy from HLJ isn't as bad as expected...at least for now.
I was hoping to borrow the Fine Molds 1/144 Millennium Falcon's round dish parts for the Bandai, but their new 1/144 release is at least 15% larger!
Does anyone who has the Bandai 1/144 MF know where to order that specific (optional) two-bulb LED box shown on the instructions' page 10?
The LED kit is only available on the Bandai site in Japan:http://bandai-hobby.net/hobbyblog/2015/04/post.html#moreLink courtesy of Greg in Japan

I'm picking up lights and sound falcon to practice painting before I paint the bandai , but I might also try and fits it's light and sound in the bandai if it fitsThanks to you and Greg for pointing this out! It's ¥2,160 (about $18) on the Rakuten market.
update: Seems the Rakuten market seller only ships it within Japan, however it's available on eBay at a gouge.
