AOU Mk 43 build

That looks sick, especially in all gold lol.
Your final product, in terms of paint and glossiness, is perfect and I think it might answer my current problem with my foam build. I hit my helmet with red garnet medium and sunburst, after a primer of course, but me and those I've shown it to think it desperately needs to look shinier. obviously your build isn't foam but as far as the paint job, if I used your method, would it look the same as on foam? Again it's looking super awesome, very metallic and lifelike, exactly what I'm looking for

Thank You for those kind words. Yes, it should look the same. Just use the same make of primer and paint and you'll achieve the same look. I use Duplicolor. Filler primer, Sunburst Gold, Stainless Steel and Red Anodized. The real key to a perfect look is sand, sand, sand. I'll give the whole chest a light sand with 800 before adding the clear coat. I'm hoping to have the chest finished in the next couple days. Then I'll paint the back.
