AOU Mk 43 build

nice work. but i believe the red still has to be glossy and the gold semi glossy.
But thats how i see it and how i did it in my build..

Yes, the red should be much more glossy than the gold for some reason. On the side note, I finally found a clear coat that is really glossy, even if it comes in small spray can that cost 10$ each. Anyway, both you and JayCVenlo (and the somewhat good weather here) sparked my interest in finishing these, so thanks guys, and i'll keep watching your work !
On the side note Reel, do you have any concrete news about the rest of the suit ? I know Curtis is a good guy, but with his bazillion runs it looks like he put this one on the side burner, and we're way past the timeline he estimated for the complete suit now. I was hoping to have it all for Age of Ultron, but that's not gonna happen, and frankly I'm not excessively happy about this. Thinking of contacting Nueuer22 to buy his files and print the rest myself at this point.

I never knew of a timeline or ETA on a completed suit. I'm pretty sure that was never discussed.

Not on the JY thread no, but I've exchanged a lot of mails with curtis back when the run started, in which he gave me approximate timeline for each bundle, which should have been done by now. But once again, this is me being frustrated a little bit, nothing more, Curtis is still straight and a great prop maker, I just wish he'd focus more on closing a few of his older runs, including this one, before starting new ones ever so often.

edit : and i have no complain whatsoever regarding the pieces he delivered, they're top notch for sure !

They are top notch and the best I've ever seen. I'm sure he'll finish everything up.

Nice work reel! I'm still unsure what color scheme to pick (42/43). But your finish looks very well done! Looking forward to see the rest of the build soon :)

Im not sure which older runs your talking about? This prop was supposed to be over time..no timeline was given as its not a money maker for me..trust me lots more work than money coming in.... and when some people dont pay..how am I supposed to keep any timeline then I would need to be able to get all the payments on time.. that just happened a month ago. So I am working on the rest of the suit.

On a side not please dont bring this up on the forum. You have my email and you can ask me about this in private...not super impressed with this post.

I did send you a mail Curtis, to which I did not get an answer. And I would not have bring this up here if you had not deleted the run thread you started. Anyway, I'm just worried by the lack of updates. Maybe you should reopen said run thread, I think most of the buyers on this run would appreciate this. And lastly, concerning the timeline thing, you told me last novembre, 6 months ago, that you would be collecting the payments for the next bundle soon. So after 6 months, you might understand while I start to worry you'll actually never finish this, especially when I see you opening so many new runs.

Took the summer off from projects, but now I'm feeling the itch to finish this before the arms and abs get here.
Sanded, Primed and ready to start the paint. Hopefully finishing the whole torso by end of weekend.
