Anakin, No!

Here's an Anakin AOTC inspired saber I built some time ago. It's mostly made from PVC pipe and fittings. Some details are wrong while others are completely missing.

The body of the saber is covered in Monocote self adhesive Mylar film.

The emitter is covered with HVAC tape.

The knurled end cap is from a water bottle and the grips came from a Rubies Anakin AOTC saber (not the Vader repaint passed off as an Anakin).

The emitter's interior is detailed with a fender washer and a blue acrylic gem.

Thanks. While it's definitely not one of my best efforts, it does have it's charm. Maybe someday I'll revisit the design and end up with something more accurate.

What did you do for the thumbscrew been looking for something like this for ages.

It's a 6/32 brass knurled nut from the specialty fasteners bins at Lowe's. It's held in place with a machine screw from the inside.
