Since I've been working on some lineage axes I've noticed a few things I wanted to post. The kenner han solo blaster heat sink greeblie on the axe could either be A new hope version or Empire version. Ive bought a few of these and I've noticed the heat sink on each blaster are slightly different from each other. The screen accurate one has a real screw on the right side of the blaster and a fake one on the left side. Also the screw hole on the screen used one slightly cuts into the raised frame of the vents on the heat sink. I found one esb vintage blaster that was correct and one 1996 version that was. Also on the screen accurate one there's a groove that runs a cross the front of the heat sink. Not all of them have it. Here are some comparisons. The one with the red circle is screen accurate.

I've been trying to match the hero version vibro axe. Here's some piping I did

The top and bottom of the vader rods are rounded. I had to modify mine

I matched the gap between the connector tube and the blade as well as the mounting screws being slightly to the left.

Thanks for sharing Ryan, perfect time if as I’ll be making a metrology Vader rod shortly. I checked the blaster I bought and was glad to find it’s the correct version - it’s the 1996 LFT orange hasbro.

Its 3/16 inch aluminum rod you should be able to get 12 or 13 inch pieces on ebay.

I just finished this one. My wife re-scaled, cut and made the "big Phillips screw as well as the lower tube to pole connector for this axe and the previous axe I did. Its based on the C3po greeblie. The vader rod was made by Rufus72.
