Limited Run Blade Runner ANDERS & TOMEN PKD Blaster Metal kit & Parts

Whooooooooopsie..... I posted this on the wrong thread.
(The price of doing mega research in a rush and having like 10 windows open...)
I meant to post that to Dave's (Tip Top Workshop) "interest" post regarding another all metal production run.
I was looking at his kits on Etsy, which is where I saw the resin kit with some metal parts, but after I saw his post here I inquired on Etsy about cancelling the resin kit to go with the all metal one. It is also on his website.
ooooooh ok then. well just so we're clear here... The metal kit I'm putting together isn't cast metal. It's machined from billets of steel and aluminum. This will be for both Anders and Tomenosuke.

Would love a full metal kit #2. Gorram!

You need a tomen for measurements?

Hi Ted, could you pls. put me on the list for 1 Cylinder set (cylinder+swing arm+nub = 150€) and 1 Barrel (60€)?
The diameter of the bore in the metal frame of my metal Anders blaster is 13mm, so the stub of the barrel should have the appropriate diameter.
Whats the shipping fee to Austria ?
THX

I'd like to join the list for Kit #2. This seems like a much better option than paying the criminal pricing for a Tomenosuke and I hate pot metal with every fiber of my being.

So long as you don't classify my eventual pricing of the all-machined-metal kit as "criminal" we're all good. I'm going to do what I can to keep costs down without sacrificing anything, but know it's a TON of work. From programming for the CNC, to making jigs, to drawing - by hand - blueprints for the manual stuff, then machining and finishing it all. It takes a lot of time. :)

Those of us who are familiar with your work would never dispute the pricing, what you are doing is a "holy grail" for so many people. Can't wait to see this!!

Hi Teddz ! I bought a cylinder and a barrel from you for Tomenosuke. I have put the cylinder in. It looks great and adds nice weight to the blaster. Such quality work. Now I'm interested what parts you are planning to make for Tomen next. If you're going to do the frame at some point I'm definitely ordering one from you and holding of cutting the plastic barrel off the original. But I'm also interested in replacing all the plastic parts, so I'm probably going to buy whatever metal parts you make :)

Thanks for the kind words. I really appreciate it.

I will be making the frame, styer receiver, and covers as well as just about every other part. Eventually the whole tomen will be metal. And if I get my hands on the airsoft version, I'm going to work on that too.

This thread just took a turn for the worse. I'm announcing the full metal kits for both ANDERS and TOMEN. Check the bottom of the first post for details, but for those that wont, here are the details...

I've worked out the numbers and the full metal kits are as follows:
1. Anders version 2600 euros
2. Tomen version 3000 euros
**Prices do not include shipping.

*****Only 20 kits of each version will be made.****
A deposit of 500 euros will be required to reserve your spot in the list.
Once sold out, no more spots will be made available. My paypal is Propsbyted@gmail.com. Please include which version you want in the note. For more than one blaster, please contact me.

Excuse the uninformed question, but what will be the functional difference between the two offerings?

OK, let me get this straight... You are replicating all the metal parts for both
Anders and Tomen? So all the parts for a complete blaster kit made of machined metal?

The tomen has certain parts that make things move when you press the trigger. The Anders version lacks this functionality, thus has fewer parts and is easier to make.

yup. Every part will be machined from either steel or aluminum. The only plastic will be the grips.

With the announcement of the limited number of full kits, was just wondering if you were still planning to offer individual parts for both anders and tomen versions? I'm definitely interested in a tomen version of the cylinder set of parts and trigger guard. Possibly barrel and maybe even more as I get into replacing parts I may not stop, lol.

Thanks for any info you are able to share.

I will still have the individual parts available. However they won't be a full blaster worth of parts. Some parts I'm only offering in the kit.

Will the kits come with all holes drilled and tapped and all screws/hardware needed for assembly?
