I guess you gotta figure if they haven't yet, why would they?

Perhaps because Richard Coyle tells them what the gun might be worth. hahahaha :) :lol

I said nothing like that....

Perhaps $500.00

I'd be willing to take it off his hands for $500. :lol

If the screen-used piece is valued at $500, does that mean we can get our all-metal replicas for $10 each? :p

Howdy y'all,

All I can say is WOW. Thanks for the e-mail Rich.

This has always been one of my all time favorite movie props. Many thanks Karl for sharing those photos with all of us.

Rich, I'd definitely be interested in acquiring one of your next generation Blasters - it would make a spectacular centerpiece for my collection.

My only regret is that I was staying next door at the Anabella Hotel that week and didn't even realize that WorldCon was in Anaheim this year :eek Who would have figured that I would decide to take my family to Disneyland that week??

That was almost worst than my not going ...until Karl contacted me....

Then overnight to LA I flew...for the last day and last chance to see it.

Ha. I used to have a STEYR SSG .308 with a double trigger.

The set-trigger makes it fire with a hair touch on the trigger..

I never even thought about it before.

ANAHEIM..? I live 20 minutes from there. I could have gone all day wthout hearing that. I'm going now to ggo kick rocks... :angry

Sorry the plastic ammo housing and clip are cast in color.

The Grip frame was painted.

The Cover and so on look like the rest of the gun crude Steel with rust.

Great pictures phase.
Thanks..
I just recieved my coyle blaster a few weeks ago.I guess it pays sometimes to wait.
now that some decent pictures have surfaced I took the liberty of repainting the piece Richard sent me.
first thing I did was to cut open up the area under the Bolt then strip the paint off everything and went over the castings with 2000 grit sand paper.the steel looking areas were shot with alclad steel and softly dusted with alclad gun metal to give it a raw look.I then added the second green LED at the rear of the laser pointer.stripped the paint off the gun barrel which was already aluminum and darkened it back a bit with black tint.
after I let the stuff dry overnight I buffed everything out.
Im satisfied with the results so far and would like to ask Mr .Coyle if he has the time to redo a few areas like the deeper gun butt and the knurled Knob if he would please sell me a set to up grade my piece.
Thanks.
