I love the helmet colors! The sword's looking good already. What did you use to get that nice rounded divot in the sword to get the stick in?

I used my trusty dremel with a sanding drum head.

The body armor has been painted and distressed to match the helmet.

Speaking of the helmet, I've gotten the jaw plates and ear guards attached.

They're a bit on the flat side, but they'll have to do for now. The con I'm attending starts on Saturday.

Hmmm... I cant help but think the armor would pop even more with black wash. Black might be too harsh, so this was a good way to go.:behave

I'm definitely going to add some sort of muscle shading to the bodysuit. Looking at the pictures, it seems far too flat compared to the armor.

I love it, great work on the armour and helmet. Can you spin your sword and fly overhead before smashing down?

Don't forget that Yoshimitsu has snake eyes. So just put a line through the middle of the white and you should be ok.

Could you draw muscle lines on the red?

Update time! After a few months of comparing my suit to the source material, I've decided to give the armor an upgrade.

First thing's first, a more accurate chestplate:







The old shin guards were far too flat. The new ones are much more shin shaped!

I've gotten the chest and shoulder plates sealed and painted (minus weathering).




Here are the new forearms. Much more rounded!
