Wolf Predator...

Destroyer

Well after almost ten long weeks, my Wolf Predator has finally arrived here in Australia. Does little happy dance...

Thanks to Dan at www.predatorstuff.com!

All great journeys begin with a single step... mine was unpacking the box! Dan does a great job when it comes to packing stuff. The outer box was damaged but the Wolf box was unscratched.

First impression... the box is bigger and heavier than normal.

Hmm, do you think I've been patiently waiting for this to arrive? I think not!

yea that thing is REALLY heavy, all the better!

did you get started on it yet?
upDATE upDATE upDATE!!! lol

Well, I've been a little sidetracked unfortunately.

My dad used to be a pilot and flew Phantoms so I thought it would be really good if I made him a model Phantom for his birthday.

I managed to track down the correct paints, camoflauge patterns, insignia and even managed to weasel the serial numbers of the planes he flew and his callsign out of him.

Not one of my brighter ideas as it has taken me ages to do, but I'm pretty proud of it considering I last painted an aircraft about 20 years ago in my misspent youth.

Maybe now I can get back to painting my Wolf Predator who is sitting forlornly on my workbench awaiting some paint. Speaking of which, what colours do people use for the skin colour for the Wolf Predator?

I have that same kit and your right everything Dan boxes up is packaged better than anyone Ive ever seen. That kit and his Hybrid kit he offers is better castings than any kits Ive ever got aslo including my superedge kits. Speking of which how but some nice close ups of that P1 and elder kits you look like you did a fantastic job painting them up.
