will you release the new arkham knight helmet for pepakura or it's for 3D printer???

There will be a pep file released... it wont have all the finer detail on it though. The only reason why I've gone ahead and added all the details is because I started this project to learn how to model... so I'm still learning.

I've been checking this thread daily for a few weeks and I'm still impressed by your work. Keep it up man!

Thanks for the support bud... It's you guys that keep me motivated...

Got some work done on the inner elbow...

I added the hand plate for now... not sure if I'll put it in a seperate file yet, it might be a good idea for scaling... dunno.

Great work on the gauntlet! IMO, the gauntlet has to be one of the weirdest ones I've seen, even from Halo.
When you break it down for pepping will you be simplifying it as well or just seperate by parts?

I've been trying model it with pepakura in mind... but eventually decided to just try get it as close to the actual gauntlet as possible and then see what and how when it gets the unfold stage... so in short, I'm not sure lol.

It's a tricky one to say the least. LOL!! You'll figure it out :thumbsup

I would recommend hand plate plate to be separate, for scaling purposes, everyones sizing ratio will be different

Sir,amazing work with the gaunlet i d like to say.it is so accurate,so i think it would be soo cool, after 3 d printing.i have one request for you, after finishing the gaunlet, could you please export in obj file, cause i had to switch chest, back from pdo to obj,the quality loosed:(today i will start 3-d printing chest, after finishing it i will post it here.thanks for your work, you are awesome

has anyone started putting the base clothes together yet? just wondering what guys are looking at? combat jacket and trousers maybe? could be hard to find something with a pattern that resembles the A/K accurately.

I have been looking at combat clothing myself. I just search for black and red bdu's, i found the pants but only found t-shirts so far for the top. The jacket has so far been elusive, but maybe im looking in the wrong places. What i have found so far has too much white in it, but that could be down to personal preference though.

The gauntlets are in the process of being unfolded ( finally ). I have probably learnt more about preparing a file for unfold from this model than from any of the others to date... stupid stuff, but if you don't know it's a ball ache.

The files should be posted in the next day or two... all depends on wether I have power at home, we're having blackouts on a daily basis again.

Also, I did a very basic mock up of the grenades for those of you who want to go the pep route with them...

Next up... biceps.

loving this so much, cant wait to start building, just need to sort my printer out and wait for my hand to heal up (managed to cut half my right index finger off with drive chain on my motorcycle)

Sorry to hear about your hand... hope it heals up soon bud.

I haven't really come across anybody that's gone all out with the suit yet... other than this guy ( don't know who this is, got the pic off google )

I think a bit of improvisation will have to be done for the base suit...

Some of the guys on the facebook group have got quite far with the armor, so we might get some ideas coming from that side...
