WIP: 1/2 scale WALL•E

Of course. I just mixed up a small amount of Iron filler powder (I suppose filings would do OK) with vinegar, then stippled it on and leave it for a couple of hours. Build it up from there.

I've heard that you can use spray adhesive and a 2" wide paint brush to produce a rust bubbling up from under the paint effect.
After you spray the adhesive and let it dry a little, you stipple the adhesive with the brush.

I got that tip from a man named Don Bies.

Simply Amazing.

Looks just like the movie.
Are you going to make complete tracks for him or are you going to make his tracks like the opening sequence where he has worn out tracks?

Keep up the Great work.

Awesome, simply awesome, the paintwork is fantastic, well done Vos!!

I know a certain little 3 year old who would kill for one of these, better not show him your pics, or i'll end up spending countless hours in the garage!!!!

Thanks guys. I can finally dull coat the body now. I am getting tired of the stink of vinegar!!!

WALL•E's got the other half of his head now (almost):
