Weta Tenzan Chainmail....where does it go?

Whoever has the Weta mail, can you tell me if this is a Weta ring or is it a different closure design?

Ok so it appears that they now have a process to make plastic mail without the split rings:

So it is injection molded in sheets. WETA still uses the injection molded technique at their workshop for hands on kid activities. The whole thing has to be electroplated after assembly. The guy who developed it at WETA now has his own business and its main use is now for buildings and interiors:

The original chain mail is weak and will come apart pretty eassily.
