really cool rings im interesting in printing an inscription in a ring but havnt found a very successful way of modeling it.

could any one give me tips on how to do this i have tried using maya and zbrush without much luck?

Looks like a standard brown leather lace. At least, I use one for mine; you can get them pretty much anywhere that sells shoes. Might need a bit of brown leather dye to darken them to your liking though.

Correct. I went to a shoe rapair place and just picked out a leather lace.

So I have a question. Did anyone try to wear this on his finger? I got the ring 2 days ago and the first night I had the ring on, my finger was brown where the ring was. I then cleaned the ring, but it seems I can't clean it well enough, because I get still brown spots on my finger :/.

Anyone else with the same thing happening to him?

Does anyone know which version is better?

The raw silver or polished silver?

If its a matter of opinion please post your reasoning so i can weigh my options.

I'm a fan of the polished silver but to be completely fair, I haven't seen the raw silver version in person.
