Frickin SWEET! I got Justin on one side and now you on the other. So I have shields on both sides. I won't have to apologize to the person on either side for bumping into them with body armor.

Loving it.

Row H just got a whole lot cooler.

Great, GREAT job on the costume.

I wanted the top layer of foam to look less like a glued on panel. It also looks a little messy underneath with foam patches holding the wires in place. All the el wire lengths(about 10) have all been tree spliced from 1 speaker wire to the 5 way splitter at the inverter. The other 4 quick connectors are for each gauntlet and each shin pad. I am still trying to figure out how to reel in the extra wiring once i'm wearing it since mobility is limited. I got so many velcro straps going that i'll be making popping and tearing sounds as i walk. Lol. I even designed the hip pieces to come apart so i can sit down.

I should have left a seat in between us, but then I'd feel sorry for the unsuspecting guy who buys that seat. :lol Now I got to figure out how to make the staff break down with all the wiring in the center.
Where to put a light up 6' pole in a movie theater ?!?!?!......:unsure

I must recover for at least a month before I dive into making that Siren costume. Truthfully probably won't have it done till mid next year July for SDCC. I have another latex costume I am working on that is going to be yet another trial to make but I can't wait ;)

Ohhh well, thanks for going into such detail about how your costume is wired. Yeah sounds like a wired mess like mine and basically everyones costume is :p

But you just gave me a new idea where to store my battery pack and driver. In the hub of my disk I can hollow out a hole and MAYBE stick everything in there.

I just bought a PERFECT black ABS plastic box from FRY's today to hold it all only to find out when I get home it is a tad bit too small :( I was so disappointed. I want to put the box anyway on my back just for looks like on the actual Quorra costume but I have no idea where to find a project box the perfect size unless I custom build it myself and no time for that! UGHHHH

Happy you will be attending the screening with all of us too! :D YAY! the more lighting the merrier!
 
I've got my tix for UniCityWalk 10/17/, 7 PM). I only hope my wife and I get the costumes done in time! Can't wait to see y'all!

Hey guys just wanted to say i found a company in holland that is a distributor and maker of el wire. If any one has a venders licensee get ti pretty cheap. I checked that one sight that sold the sheets up above and 116.00 dollars for a sheet is a little crazy in my book. If any on knows any American Makers of El Wire please let me know cause shipping would be a lot cheaper. Lytec EL Wires, Electroluminescent Wire, Light Wire, Disco Light, Flexible Light I would like to make a suit my self not necessarily a tron suit but something of that sort. I am a DJ In the Midwest and I think it would be really cool to make a suit to dj in. I think the leather would be too hot any other good Fabrics that would be not so thick but same idea let me know.
 
YO YO YO! after being up all night, finishing my el wire light strip work wanted to post a pic. This is just one (left side) front to back one long strip of my Quorra chest armor. There is one right side like this and two left and right side strips, the A-symmterical skirt strip of course and both my arms, the strip down my right leg and right boot are lite up and complete! :D

All I need to do is diffuse these chest pieces attach them and I am ready to ROCK!

Will hopefully post a photo of me in the entire costume, maybe make a visit to the Sunset blvd. TRON light up sign again ;) before we meet for the premiere!

YAY! I am not even tired and filled with excitement to see our hardwork in action! :D :D :D
