Here is a pic of my girlfriend. Not the best pic ever, I know.
But the inverter matches Quorra's measurements.
Mine was twice my girl's. Well, like Sam's.
Don't want to sound cocky, but I had to work with both mine and my girldfriend's. And if those are batt packs, where are the inverters? They are really big. They cannot be hidden that easy, batts can.

There was also talk of the Battery Packs/Inverters being on those back project boxes, as well as being possibly hidden inside the Disc Hub Mount. :ninja

Comparing these to the screenshot, its almost dead on. The only difference is the texture. Looks like the movie version has smooth leather instead of the textured part. Still, I'm sure it was just a mod version of these.

Too bad. I'm sure the A-stars are out of budget for me.

I heard that they hid batteries in the Disc Hub for programs that did not remove their discs in a particular scene, but that might just be for the disc itself. Similarly, the boxes are batteries (as others have stated already) for "mobile" scenes, but would only power a suit for approximatly 12 minutes before having to be replaced.

Almost every program has the box under their Disc Hub on their back, but another way that Clu is different from the crowd (appologies if this has been stated) has his on his right leg, in the place of a baton.

EDIT: The "batteries In Hub" idea for only being for the disc makes more sense considering Flynn's white Zen outfit has no box, and it's only lighting is in his disc.

But his dark cape/robe has some fringe lighting, and I didn't spot a box anywhere. Perhaps it was simply hidden beneath the robes.

I had considered those exact boots when I first started on my suit, but decided to go with the taller boot look (plus I had them already :love). I think these are perfect for a Warrior Class or Infiltration Program look.

One of the feautrettes on the DVD shows another angle on this, where they actually seal the compartment up after getting everything connected.

Hello! I just found this forum. How much do you estimate it would take to make this?

Welcome.. and that's a REALLY varied question BS. Some of us went with cheap, some with costly, some basic, some extreme. Price is in direct relation to these and other factors. (heck, mine in total for all the clothing, ELWire, ELTape, mod'd armor and helm, my damn expensive boots, battery packs, and various add-ons: about $500.. $600 if you count the Green ID Disc)

I have pretty much everything i need of rmy costume, just waiting on Soul to deliver my disc mod, Im using the jacket design from the matrix(like neo's robe but a jacket version) and the only thing i need advice on right now is how to make a good looking disc holder.

I really dont feel like doing paypal again just so i can get the one from aradani.

try Disk Holder Mount they have a good disk mount for a reasonable price:ninja
