I agree from top to bottom on this post but must say, let us all be grateful that your last sentence is true and that we have not yet seen the influences of hero to zero, forgot my own words and wisdom, that is the stock amd trade writing style of those that have destroyed other franchises just to "out with the old and in with new" or worse, "surprise ending at all cost". AKA, you didn't see that coming because, of course, it made no sense at all given the known backstory.
