The Mandalorian (TV series)

Luke showing up was not my favorite but I guess it fits, even if was not what I wanted to see.
I feel it was the lesser of several evils. I thought baby Yoda should have reached out to Mando instead of the Jedi when he took him to New Mexico’s Stonehenge, but they didn’t do that. It was obvious they were bringing in a Jedi. So if it had to be a Jedi, at least it wasn’t discount Aladdin from Rebels or discount Joker from Fallen Order. The CG didn’t look bad at first, but when he began speaking it started to fall apart. But definitely a lot better than the spooky floating head JPGs from TROS’s flashback scene.

Also, what was with the music this episode? I was originally going to praise it, as I liked the sting that played with the title card, but was that dubstep playing over the (absolutely ridiculous-looking) Dark Troopers?

I agree with you there, I didn't care for the Dark Trooper music either, but I did like the look of them though.

Here's something that nobody seems to have addressed, or maybe it was something that I've forgotten, what happened to Bo's second companion? When we were first introduced to her, she was part of a trio, now she's down to a duo. Did something happen to that guy Mando guy that I forgot about or did Favreau just forget about him?

Also, RIP Imperial Comms Officer on the Light Cruiser. I've always liked the actress that played her, ever since they first introduced her on Z Nation. I was hoping that they were going to give her a slightly larger role and actually give her character a name. But then again, this is Star Wars and they'll probably eventually make an action figure of her and give her a name.

Discount Aladdin! Love it!

WOOOOOWWW!!!

Ok, I liked all of that! I don't care what anyone thinks, that was cool! Even if the de-aging was a little off. It was LUKE FRICKEN SKYWALKER!

So... Now that their macguffin is gone... what's the story?
Wooooowwwww is exactly what I said at the end...story line to come??? But I can't wait!!!

Short version? probably just saving on actors/not having a need for him in the story. Nothing happens to him on screen, though I assumed that Bo and her two companions earlier in the series were meant to be just a part of a larger mandalorian insurgency. They were after crates and crates of weapons, and are in possession of multiple starships.

He's realistically just off working with other members of Bo's group.

While it may not have been the full intent, without him as a part of the boarding party, it did leave a neat little "Terrifying murder-women of Star Wars: The Mandalorian" team to sweep through the ship.

I believe this was 100% on purpose!

I noticed that and thought it was weird as well. Could have had some line of dialogue or some implication that things weren’t going so well for her little gang, but in my opinion, the less either of those two speak, the better. Cheesy dialogue to the max from the two of them.

Completely missed the Boba Fett End......Bib put on some weight.

Just truly enjoyed seeing the strong hero that I know Luke Skywalker is continue......

again....the sequels do not exist to me so I thoroughly enjoyed it. So much Hope.....

Could you imagine if the Big Movie Disney people did make three Giant turds what optimism there would have been.

The difference here is true to character/storylines and imagination mixed with and more importantly *True Caring for the Characters and what they stood for in the OT.

As opposed to the use and abuse and character assasination on the most part for the founding characters of the OT that big movie disney

Ahem...(pushes glasses up nose)... Actually... In the unpublished Special Edition of the LEGENDS novel, Tales From Jabba's Palace, in the seventh short story, A Fortuna Family Life Day, Bib Fortuna's brother, Bob Fortuna, came to visit for the previous year's Life Day celebration & never left. Jabba didn't like him, but allowed him to stay because after their parents died, Bib felt responsible for Bob. See, Bob was a diabetic Twi'lek (George wanted them named Twinkie'leks for the obvious tie in possibilities. Greedo also had a diabetic brother that died on the Sail Barge, named GreedOreo.)

Anyways, a week before Leia & Luke arrived, Bob & Boba pulled a devil's triangle on Sy Snodles (her snout didn't always look like it did in ROTJ). Boba was inebriated & extremely embarrassed. Bob kept threatening to spill the beans by saying, "I heard a rumour about you, Boba." whenever Boba was talking to ANY females around. He did it again, right before the group left on the Sail Barge, & Boba had had enough. He jacked Bob up against the palace wall & said if Bob ever threatened him with that 'rumour' again, Boba would kill him where he stood.

Since Bib died on the Sail Barge, Bob used the opportunity to take over. He tried to pull that again in front of Fennec in today's episode & Boba kept his promise.

For those of us REAL fans, it was incredible to see this long standing plot thread be finally cleared up in incredible fashion.

I cried. Ain't gonna lie.

The other “Guy Mando” dude was unavailable as he was preparing for a colonoscopy the next day and had to stay close to the toilet after drinking a bottle of magnesium citrate.

I feel I need to speak up on behalf of the lovers of the Sequel Trilogy.

If Luke could do all the damage he did to the Super-Duper Battlebots, just imagine what an even more powerful Jedi—like Rey Skywalker—could do.

Just imagine...

(Ducks head and runs out of the room, like a true coward and a troll).

I’m sure at some point we’ll find out. Disney will milk that Moof until they run dry and then go back to Rey at some point to make more Disney Dollars

I thought the same thing!

I’ll buy you a beer for that story. You and I can be friends now.

Luke's voice to me was so off it was distracting. Barely sounded like him at all. Not sure you have deage a voice that much.

Someone mentioned that the team was almost all women. To tell the truth I had not even noticed that each of the first 3 times I watched and gladly so for the reason.........all the Characters/Women to me are so well done, strong and individual and unique they were just Awesome to me. Which to me is what Star wars was always about, Well done and Interesting and Fun Characters with Heart. Pretty awesome.

Now the way the Disney Theatre Mess did The last Jedi was just make it so obvious that it felt overdone for the sake of being overdone which was a shame.
