Big time. I'm just joking about how CGI has probably gotten good enough to fool us with a video like this. He's trolling you man, lol.

...there have been several cleaned up shots of Din riding the Swoop on Tatooine that really do make it look like Boba's jetpack and bucket are on the back of the swoop.
I know I saw a cleaner one somewhere, but here is one that sold me on it being Boba's Jetpack and Helmet. Can you post said picture?
As long as it's relevant to the story. I mean, if Jedi are practically myth, why would anything factual about Jango and Boba Fett be any more known? Keeping whatever about him/ them as vague would be far better than just pegging a huge character into the story. If they add a Boba Fett connection. I hope they touch on why Jango and Boba are running around in Mandalorian armor. Yet they aren't Mandalorian.
Their whole thing is confusing because in TCW Almec makes it clear that at least in his eyes Jango isn’t a true Mandalorian, and it’s very much a culture/race. In The Mandalorian we see that Din Djarin comes from a Death Watch associated group that now believes that being Mandalorian is a creed and way of life, not a race. It’s hard to say where Boba fits into all that.If they add a Boba Fett connection. I hope they touch on why Jango and Boba are running around in Mandalorian armor. Yet they aren't Mandalorian.

Prime Minister Almec: “Master Kenobi, Mandalore’s violent past is behind us. All of our warriors were exiled to our moon, Concordia. They died out years ago.”
Obi-Wan Kenobi: “Hmm. Are you certain? I recently encountered a man who wore Mandalorian armor, Jango Fett.”
Almec: “Jango Fett was a common bounty hunter. How he acquired that armor is beyond me.”
I’m wondering if Mando is reclaiming the armor from a certain sheriff
But those books and comics only exist because the hype drove them into existence....and remains that way for people who didn’t read all the old books and comics
Finally got my crew hoodie...

The script for season III has already been written!!
So simply based on that, it would seem that Jango acquired the armor from a Mandalorian (directly or indirectly) that no longer had need of it (as in dead). I mean it could be elaborated more but I think simply understanding that Jango was a mandalorian and his armor was not truly his is enough to move on. Now should story elements dictate a complete different take, one could simply explain that Almec was not as all knowing about the Warrior clans as he thought. After all, he did not think there were any left at the time he made that statement. So if one part of his statement is flawed, who knows what else he is wrong about.
To be fair, Almec was a criminal who spent his entire political career trying to make Mandalore "look good" regardless the costs. He'd say anything about anybody if it was good PR to do so.All we know we know this...
That he’s a politician trying to gatekeep “Mandalorianism” and Jango is actually more representative of their culture than he is!What can we learn from the fact that the Prime Minister of Mandalore knew of Jango's existence at all?
