No reason they can't do it. They already had Matt Lanter in the show. Just get Jim Cummings in for mo-cap or put a performer in the suit and get Jim to do the voice. He'd be a great foil for Carl Weathers. Pishing him off all the time that he wants to shoot him with Hondo just swindling and joking his way out.
I can’t believe it. Something “new” about Star Wars that didn’t send me into a depressive spiral! As an amateur composer, I enjoyed this a lot.

I just don’t feel like sitting through anything with Dave Filoni. I was interested in watching the Gallery thing, but now that I’ve lost interest in the show due to the inclusions of the cartoon stuff I really don’t like, I didn’t want to watch more of it. I just can’t get excited about any of this stuff anymore. It just isn’t Star Wars to me. There was some good stuff in season 1, but some stuff that leaned towards stuff I didn’t like. Now that they’ve explicitly announced they’ll be bringing in exactly the elements of the show I didn’t like into the forefront of seasons 2 and 3? Pass.If you haven't seen it, the half dozen or so behind the scenes episodes about the show on disney+ "Disney Gallery", has a whole episode about the music and the composition.
For what it's worth. Got the most recent "this is the real release date, we swear." Email from Amazon
Seriously. Watch those Gallery episodes. They provide an incredible insight into the production of this show, and Star Wars in general. Absolutely fascinating. If you haven't seen it, the half dozen or so behind the scenes episodes about the show on disney+ "Disney Gallery", has a whole episode about the music and the composition.
I was thinking about this as I watched Empire the other day. When it came out, (and before I saw it as a kid,) I knew who Yoda was. Whenever I watch ESB, I think about how amazing the reveal would be if the audience DIDN'T know who Yoda was beforehand. The movie is written for it to be a big twist when he busts out "I cannot teach him." We expected a "Great Warrior," a legendary Knight who taught Ben Kenobi. We got little green goofy Yoda. Keeping The Child a secret as well as they did was a huge achievement, especially in the age of internet leaks. This is probably one of the reasons Favreau didn’t want any merchandise made right away. Because Disney doesn’t know the meaning of “subtle” when it comes to merchandise, not to mention Star Wars’ own long history with merchandise
