No, I think I was quite clear - at no time did I try to mislead you or anyone. My statements - unless noted, are clearly from my perspective. I never said that an entire audience felt a certain way.
I understand you liked this movie - that's fine, I'm quite sure some folks liked Batman & Robin, too (and the similarities go well beyond a blue dude - it's also clear that I'm not the only one who felt that way). But, it seems that you're trying to debate my personal opinion - and that of movie critics - again, if you disagree, that's fine - but, there's really no need to speak for an entire audience, which you very clearly did.
I'm not posting in this thread because I have any inclination to change anyone here's mind (I keep notifications that I've been quoted). It's kinda funny to read the blatant dismissal of anyone who didn't like it - especially those that have strong, well stated reasons. It's better to understand when you back up your opinion with strong discussion and reasonings - what I mostly get here is more like "critics suck, your opinion sucks and go away if you don't like it" (obvious generalization).
I've been a Spidey fan a very long time, I have a vested interest in the character and I'm disappointed in this movie. I don't think it's an improvement on the Raimi films because, mostly, the villains were done very poorly.
