Yeah, Fuji makes some nice bikes. I have the Roubaix. I believe it's a 2008 model that I purchased in 2009. Got a great discount as it was a year old. The lightest bike I've ever owned. I burned through four saddles looking for a comfortable one. It's got some carbon fiber on it, but it's mostly aluminum. The tri bars are carbon fiber though, and really make long distance rides much more tolerable.

I havent read through the thread, but I really hope you braced the car by welding in crossbeams before cutting the roof off. It doesn't look like you have, but the roof is actually an important structural component to a a car, and the body will warp/twist if not braced properly.

Matt have you seen the amazing footage on youtube of the Ohio resident who has a turbine in his batmobile.

Having said that I just wanted to say this thread and your videoblogs are an inspiration to a man who can barely hang a coatrack like me.

Ruddigger, i certainly do appreciate you looking out for me, and for the suggestion. The good news is, as slave1pilot pointed out, that this is a body on body style car. This model year caprice has been used successfully on a couple well documented bat builds, and I am just following in their footsteps 
But dont let slave1 scare you off! Please dont hesitate to jump in if you see someyhing that you want to comment on. The next time, you might end up saving me a ton of trouble.
The night ended late for me. Laamberry is back on a pepakura kick, which means i had more free time for tear down. I probably put in about four hours total today, which is great. The wiring is almost completely tagged and removed from the inside of the car. Crazy mess.
More pics tomorrow, and probably a video on monday.

Tardis55, yea, that guy is a fellow member of CLTC. i follow his work, as he is incredibly talented, and fast. The turbine powered car is his second build. Amazing stuff.
I took the radiator off today. The front end now looks really small and empty.
Kind of amazing when you compare it to this, which is how it looked back in March.

Oddly enough, I learned that trick from Jamie Hyneman one time when I was at M5. I think shortly after a forklift had sprung a leak.
New episode has been delivered to Art. Now it's just a wait until he gets it uploaded to youtube. This one is definitely worth bookmarking, for all of you teens considering doing your own mattmobile build up. :lol
Been enjoying this thread so I better subscribe to it. Makes me want to go out and build a Seanmobile!

STILL, don't stop asking those types of questions. I'm totally new to this, and there's 100% chance I will do some things wrong along the way. If you see me doing something that looks bone-headed, please don't hesitate to yell about it.
