In any event, I will be doing a blue and green blade too, maybe even fitting those in different custom hilts if I hook up with a hilt maker.
These blades are totally removable, they simply plug in to the driver board. The way I designed them you can change blade colors by plugging in a different colored blade board. No need to take apart the hilt at all, as the driver board works with any of the blade colors.

What's up fellas. Sorry to bother you all. Check out this link and the following page of this thread. It details my glorious conversion to this site and more specifically this thread. Thank God I was fortunate enough to stumble across your site. With what little I know about you I already love you hyperdyne, you're doing God's work my friend. You're becoming a legend in more places than you would think. You are widely feared and respected by even novice saber enthusiats. OT. X0.

I just watched the teaser...DAAAAAAAAAAAMN.....dude, that is blinding. This is a freakin' coup in tha realm of sabers.Originally posted by hyperdyne@Dec 7 2005, 07:41 PM
I havent played with any other FX sabers. All the ones I have are defective in one way or another. :thumbsdown. The Vader ANH I have also has the defective sound bug, even after exchanging it 3 times. I bought a mace saber and it looks like the blade is tye dyed. :confused

The sound board is separate. It can either be seamlessly controlled from my blade driver board, or it can be used standalone using 2 pushbuttons (one for up/down sound and one for clash sounds). This low-cost version doesnt have a built in clash sensor, that is slated for version 2. But you can add a simple clash sensor to the board if you wish. The swing sounds are automated via an onboard swing sensor. The board will also mate into your existing battery supply and will accept 5-18V as input.Â
If you mean Luke's ANH blade, that will be tougher to do with LEDs. You will normally get a deeper blue ala Obi's Ep1-3 saber.
