Whew. After much work finally got our deluxe "v2" blade boards finished. I have been prototyping them for some time now, tweaking a couple things.
Here are a couple shots of some local fanforce people using my 2 converted FX sabers with my all out v2 saber package. The blue and red are really bright, even hard to stare at. With all the lights in the museum the sabers still look like they belong on screen.
Plus I just got in a handful of green v2 saber blades. These are by far the brightest blade I have ever laid eyes on. About 40+ watts of light output, it is just plain ABSURD. :eek
Here is a shot of the green blade assembly at 1/10 sec exposure. Yes, I said 1/10 sec..
And here is it with a full flash. I cant believe it still is that bright.
I never thought I would say this, but I think the deluxe green may have to be toned down in brightness a tad - to help with battery life and heat. It just might be too bright..... :lol
I doubt there will be a v3 blade. I am pushing the technology to its limits already.
Right now I just got in some more v2 drivers and some 11v batteries. I am still low on saber blades, I have 1 or 2 green v2 blades that I will be putting up on the site soon. All the other colors are out of stock - as the newest batch sold out pretty darn quick. I didnt even get a chance to list them on the site...
Man those are really steep, but they are the coolest sabers I've seen to date. Wish I could drop that kind of cash on one. Still nice to see it can be done and his made it even better then the last time I saw this thread.
Yeah, sorry about the stock issues. We are having problems keeping up with demand. :eek
Good news is that I just got an order in for a huge batch of v2 deluxe blade boards. Also got in some more v2 drivers that will be built up within the week. Batteries should also be in this week. Thanks for your patience...
New stuff is also on the horizon that should be just as exciting. One of these is a new deluxe in-hilt sound board that leverages our patented technology and a mini SD card to hold all kinds of different sounds. All the sounds are programmable using a PC so the user can make up their own sound schemes very easily. :thumbsup
For those interested, V2 driver boards, and 11 volt batteries are currently in stock. Only green blades are in stock, but hopefully other colors will be available soon.
It's been a long time since an update, but that doesnt mean we havent been busy. We have been working on some new advances with the hyperblade system. Always in motion the future is.
First off is our new one-piece blade boards. These boards use new modified jumpers to give you the smoothest available blade look. Plus you can still duel with the blades no problem.
For those using their blades as more of a display piece or for light dueling, we can even install extra "gap mitigation" LEDs so the blade looks even more refined (or you can even do this yourself). We have done this for several customers already. This is not really necessary with the one-piece boards (since the gap is all but gone) but we know some people would like the option:
And last but not least is our newest blade, the one-piece 24" yoda green saber blade..
All of these blades are plug and play with our v2 saber driver, and they work off batts anywhere from 6v-12v (we use either 7.2V or 11.1V battery packs).
