SyFy Channel's Face Off Television Show

Meghan had better be the next one to get fired off or this show is a farce. She had one success with her beauty make-up, but which episode number is this? How long is that going to get drawn out. No offense to Conor but that was a pretty shameless showing of juvenile flirting and covering for her. After this last round of elimination hopefully the judges will start to get it right.

I agree about Meghan but you also have to remember all we see is an hour of probably 100 hrs worth of footage. Based on skill though the wrong people were sent home on the last challenged. I need to get out more because I literally yelled at my TV. Conor or your skill is top notch

I agree that Conor's work is very nice and I realize that we only see what the producers allow us to see and some of it is dramatized up but I was just saying maybe it was a momentary lapse in judgement that needed to be called out. I think Tom got a raw deal on this last episode. :thumbsdown Greg Nicotero says he likes how leathery Connor's zombie was and then Glen rips on Tom's for looking leathery :confused Hopefully there was more to that than we say that was cut out during editing otherwise I think these judges are all over the place and there isn't any consistency. Otherwise I think the show stands a chance to continue to improve and be successful if Syfy doesn't screw it up (like they have with so many other show :angel)

I agree, Tom should not have been sent home. That was a pretty bad decision. Although I think all the artists did a really outstanding job with the zombie make-up, it was hard to decide which ones to send home. With only 2 more episodes, people gotta go. I'm sure Megan will go next, she's not bad, she just needs more experience.

I also hope this gets more seasons.

Agreed. I saw that too. tom was my pick to make it to the final 3 at elastic. I see it being Tate vs Conor. Both have showed a great attitude during the show.

I agree with the outcome but after rewatching last weeks episode again and hearing some comments last night i came away with an odd feelings about these judges. Last week Tom won the precontest and Megan got pretty much dissed on her blood which made the outcome at the end even worse. How can the guy that wins the precontest and does the sculpt he did go home and the one who made the worst blood and basically scraped some clay with a fork end up staying? The best thing they could ***** about Toms work was wrong way wrinkles and veins? Really? Megans picking the bucket of guts "because of the sound they make" didn't clue them in to her ability? Then near the end it hits me. Tom tells Glenn "i think its beyond veins". I think Tom threatened Glenns "Cameron ego" and it gave them their excuse, had to go. How dare you question the judge? :lol
After last night my respect for Ve or Vi or whatever her name is pretty much went to crap. Her comment on how she hates to kick off females because they are not represented enough bla bla bla. Whatever. She obviously has other motives. If that is how she is voting for people, by their gender, then she has NO integrity as a judge. She called herself out. And then to admit Megans last weeks work was not up to par and still letting her stay? WOW, EFFING WOW. Just another social premotion show. So my male shovinist pig view is that this thing has been a sham and the judges have been pushing the girls up. Which is absolutly the worst thing they could have done for women. Either you make it on your abilities or or you don't. Letting them pass on through because they are female would insult the hell out of me if i was female and deminishes this weeks winner. WHICH IT SHOULDN'T! She earned her win last night and although maybe not the best over the coarse of the show, she is the least experienced and she is doing an amazing job going up against these pros.

After seeing last night with Megan tearing off her face apps, you knew she was doomed. You can't just change your skin tone and add a lil voice to it and expect to fool your mother of all people. You could tell she was spotted the second she showed her face to her. Her mothers reaction to her swearing behind the register was a dead givaway. I think the "concept" of her zombie last week was the only thing that got her to stay.

Tates did a great job with his character. Sam did a great job with hers, and I do believe she earned that win. Conners was great as well, but after really looking at it, I can see how they can spot him as an older person, still, was a awesome job. Gage, I don't know, something about the face was just off a little, it almost looked a little fake with the way the cheeks and chin were.

Should be an interesting finale next week.

I enjoyed the episode and the right person was finally sent home, but I just don't know about the dude in the top two. His costume just looked awful to me and too over the top. I guess the jusdges saw something I did not, because I was really shocked that his costume was not critized more. Also that goth costume seemed way too ridiculous and phony.

I might consider your point more seriously if the very first person sent home hadn't been female.

Jo, I can understand being sent home when she was because her behavior was childish when she interrupted Connor and Meghan's critique time to tattle. I think that it's more a matter of them giving Meghan a chance to show that she does belong there than any real gender-based bias.

Ve does have a point, however: there are relatively few women in the prop/SFX world and women need to get on the stick and show what they're capable of... unfortunately, I don't think this show is going to help in that regard as they tend to focus on the angst and drama too much and not enough on the contestants' actual skill.

out of curiosity does any one else wonder how much of Connor and Mehgan's relationship is more producers editing or encouraging...at least on Connors part?

and will the contestants end up on the convention circuit like those from "who Wants to be a Superhero"?

I don't sew how Meghan's mom could NOT recognize her daughter. Gage's make-up was ambitious, but looked flat. Sam's was best all around.

They were backed into a corner. If they had kept Megan at this point the show would have lost all credibility. You could tell they didn't want to send her home. I bet if she had left her original mask on, Gage would have been sent home.

aside from her sculpt not looking like her inspiration, at least I didn't think the model's nose was that big, she probably could have saved it by adding the beauty make-up.

I don't think any one there could have competed with megan if this were a beauty make-up Show. But it's not she has some skills but not all of them so I am glad to finally see her go. If not jut for the fact that every time she got around Connor she seemed to turn into and stupid little teenage girl Giggling over the really cute boy. I am really jazzed that Sam won I think she had it right in the show that she was tired of being in the middle of the pack and needed to make a statement. I know this goes against the grain a bit but I think the contest will be between her and Either one of the Boys (Connor/Tate) . I think she is going Balls to the Wall and is not going to stop. Slow and Steady wins the Race but now she is kicking @$$ and taking names.

I tend to agree, the relationship between Connor and Megan seems to be more one sided and creative editing. Not sure if anyone else noticed but Megan looked like she was hoping to be kissed at the end of the episode when she said goodbye to Connor and he seemed unaware and uninterested. She definitely looked like the girl lusting after the guy who is totally unaware that she has a romantic interest in him.
