SyFy Channel's Face Off Television Show

I wonder how much the finale will come down to that weeks work or will they look at the entire body of work on the show?

It'd be a shame if someone has an off week and they don't win because of it, but I guess that's what these shows are all about...:)

I wish they had narrowed it down to less people before the finale. 4 people in the running seems like a bit much

The person I thought would win, did. Congrats.

I will say, Sam and Gage did come further, grew more if you will, than Tate or Connor form episode 1 to the finale. Congrats to them, too.

Since the cat's out of the bag no sense in putting this in a spoiler :lol

Congrats to Connor, his body of work over the course of the show was really well done (minus the Dennis Rodman bride thing but can't say that was his fault)

All of those finalists did outstanding jobs. Between Connor, Gauge and Tate I don't know how the judges were able to choose. I was kinda disappointed that Sam didn't finish stronger, I was pulling for her to be the sleeper.

I also thought it was cool that they brought back everyone to work for the finalists as a team, seems like everyone worked really hard.

I knew Connor was going to win from the getgo. His grasp of the makeup and design and whatnot greatly outmatched the other peoples. His work is the kinda stuff you see in bigger budget films. I mean his zombie looked like it was a hero zombie dragged right out of the Walking Dead.

I'm amazed Megan lasted as long as she did....but I still think she was smoooookin.

You guys need to put spoiler tags for those who have not watched it yet.

Congrads to the winner. You deserve it. Yes i think the show worked out in the end. Glad to here there will be a season 2.

Knew Conor had this one in the bag, he's one of the most talented artists in the business and with quite a few actual Hollywood films under his belt this will only boost him more. Congrats to all the other finalists as well.

Congrats, Connor! I was a fan since the Elephant transformation project! Phenomenal work and you deserve it!

Man talk about a strong ending between Tate, Conor and Gage those 3 were on a completely different level of talent versus Sam. She had no chance with what she did, you can't bring a knife to a bazooka fight.... Congrats Conor surprising choice on Frank but it paid off. Hope to see more of your work on here.

I was very impressed with Tate and Gage as well as Connor in the finale. The best part about doing a show like this has to be the exposure to all the big-wigs in their field, and I'm positive that with such a strong showing when it counted, all three will have excellent connections and opportunities in the effects industry thanks to the show. While only one ends up with the 100k, some might say those opportunities are the real prize.

No wonder he joined the forum, he wants to spend some of that moolah!

I must say though, I did think the judges were gonna pick someone elses. But, I think they decided to look at it as a whole to who wins.

Congrats!

Congrats Connor I was rooting for ya the whole time, you have amazing talent and all the best of things to come for you in the future :thumbsup

So I just finished watching the finale via on-demand and I have to say that I'm blown away by what the talent that was on display there. Conor, Tate and Gage really astounded me with the visions they brought to life.

Tate's Red Riding Hood tableau was amazing... If I saw that on a movie poster, I would be totally jazzed to shell out my money to see that flick!

Gage's Hansel and Gretel was horrifying and truly disturbing, so kudos to him!

And Conor.. Damn, man. The working air bladder to inflate the frog-prince's throat was a stroke of genius! It was, I think, a calculated risk to bring Frank onto the team, but clearly, it was one that paid off. The witch as elemental/druidic type was a lovely take on the character, I think, and Frank's work on her staff definitely helped give her some additional character that she might not have had otherwise.

Congratulations on your win, Conor. Here's hoping that you and other others can parlay this into some awesome opportunities!
