SyFy Channel's Face Off Television Show

Hated seeing Tom get thrown under the bus. I'm curious how much editing they're doing though, they're really playing up the Megan/Conor thing and that totally played into the ending.

I have to admit, I'm a little interested in this show.

I'm glad that Frank got booted. He clearly wasn't taking the competition even REMOTELY seriously. The fact that he was consistently putting in the minimum effort, then sitting back with his feet up reading or something was really grating.

Please, god, let Megan be next. She's going to be a major issue with this lust she's got going for Conor and she's not talented enough to justify the baggage the others will have to deal with whenever Jo happens to get teamed with Conor. :rolleyes

Yeah, I kinda like it too.

Let's face it, there aren't that many shows for geeks that deal with this kinda theme so I'm hooked.

It looked like in the beginning they may focus on the "house" they all live in but, thankfully, that really hasn't been the case. They've thrown in a little "real life" drama but not too much.

To me, Conor is the standout for sure. That silicone mask they put together last week was sick!

Yup, very glad he's gone. I wonder what this show will do for his career. Just not a very good work ethic at all and seemed very lazy, despite being talented.

career-wise, Frank ..as well as many of the artists on this show have been working in pro FX for years. In fact ..Frank actually used to work for Judge Vy Niel

I'd love to see them do a college edition of this between schools like the Art institute of Pittsburgh against Savini's school (mostly because they're close together). I used to skip class since the animation program was full of smug kids and hung in the basement with the FX course kids who were down to earth. I was always amazed by the number of girls in the program yet you never see them in behind the scenes stuff. I only caught a few episodes and i can't figure out how Frank could act like that if he's been working in the field for years. I mean even if you own your own shop/company you should be ready and willing to bust your butt. Especially to win a competition that could otherwise make you look bad.

Yeah, I had no idea Conor was a member here. My wife and I are both rooting for you, man!

Great work, dude! Hope you win, you're very talented and more creative than most of the other people there.

REALLLY, REALLLY glad Frank is gone. What a ******!

Yes, I'm still loving the show. I only wish it was more technical based, showing the actual process so one can learn more, rather than focusing on the drama, but that's what a reality show is.

I am actually super surprised they got rid of Frank and the girl with the huge earrings... who is going to bring the drama they are so desperately trying to interject into a show that should be about the talent and skills of the contestants.

One of the things that frustrates me is that I don't feel they show us, the viewers the final pieces well enough because clearly the judges are seeing things we are not. Some of the pieces they think are great look aweful and some of the pieces they are very critical of look good to me.

I didn't much care for the gender swap but am looking forward to this week's episode BIG TIME!

That's awesome! I don't know why it surprised me that Conor is a member here, but thinking about it, I'd be surprised if other contestants weren't as well.

Tom and Conor are my two favorites and I'm looking forward to see how things shake out.

I finally started watching.

Conor, I know it's over and done, but retro-active good luck to you! Any behind the scenes info you want to share, you go right ahead.

I think the wrong team won the gender swap. Yeah the young Asian couple may have been an easier canvas to start with, but the final product still read better on the runway.
Megan's model looked too much like Dennis Rodman.

Tonight was a great drama free episode, loved it. Don't want to put any spoilers in case someone hasn't seen it yet.
