SyFy Channel's Face Off Television Show

Just watched the finale and have been staying away from this thread until I did so. Couldn't be happier with the outcome! The last challenge was the closest I have seen, but the right man won. I know Conor got dinged a bit for creativity, but in my opinon his just is not so much to come up with ideas but to execute and his execution was flawless challenge after challenge. Creativity is great, but if you can't pull it off, all the creativity in the world is worthless. Congrats, Conor!

Yeah, I went home for lunch and was like, we gotta watch Face off cause I keep getting emails about updates to this thread and don't want to accidentally see who won! Super happy with the outcome. Any of the last 3 were deserving but we've been rooting for Connor for so long, happy to see him win it! Congratulations Conor, super happy for you!

Kinda odd that they only made 8 episodes, isn't a typical season 12-13? If they'd taken it to a final 3 and not done a double-elimination episode they could have gotten 10 eps easy, it's like they didn't have enough ideas for challenges or something. I was totally expecting an age makeup episode at some point.

Overall a decent series though I still refused to watch it "live" as I find the format annoying. Looking forward to season 2. :cool

I'm sure they were testing the waters to see if there was a market for this kind of show. Hopefully as a result of the interest we will get a season two, that has better challenges, more eps, and larger budget with even more industry pros:thumbsup

I really enjoyed this show; however, I would have liked if they concentrated more time on the design process and actual work process than any reality TV elements. People like Jack Pierce, Lon Chaney and Harry Hausen are true artists to me--of course, along with all the modern practitioners of this form. The only other thing I would like to see change is having all the artists competing be of similar experience.

Loved the last episode. It was great seeing the team efforts, and some really outstanding concepts for the final four. Even my wife had a great time with this show, and she's not nearly the FX junkie I am.

I saw some episodes. Where can i see the complete season? or it will come out in dvd later?
