Supernatural Props.What Ya Got... 4 Years 2010-2014

Re: Supernatural Props.What Ya Got...

If there is any information you can give me on how to find one of these it would be greatly appreciated, i have looked for one of these a very long time and have had no luck...(possibly what you searched for of the title of the listing so i can use it as a reference?) thanks man!
Whenever I'm searching on eBay for a jacket or shirt or whatever, I always make sure to use the least amount of keywords as possible, it'll give you a lot more results and increase your chances of finding a rare item. So for Dean's jackets I just go to Coats & Jackets, and search "Gap", or whatever other brand I'm looking for.

Re: Supernatural Props.What Ya Got...

Just wanted to show my Castiel costume, complete with make shift angel blade.

I made this for Toronto Fan Expo 2 years ago and my friend went with me as Anna Milton

Great time!...except for the people who thought I was Doctor Who :confused

Re: Supernatural Props.What Ya Got...

So I've been working on Meg's goblet. After studying it from several different angles, I've come to the conclusion that the pattern repeats. I've been able to identify four different faces. I'm making these faces out of Chavant hard, will throw them into a bit of silicone, and cast duplicates.

My tiny tiny faces:

The first one needs a bit more work but I'm happy with the other three thus far. I'm going to study this a bit more b/c I think there's some slight differences with two of the ones I had originally thought were the same.

Once these are done and molded, I'm going to heatform it onto the bowl I picked up, apoxie-sculpt around the faces so it's all of a piece, and dremel in some of the details.

And then it's molding time! I've seen this in both pewter/silver and in bronze... so will probably try coldcasting in both to see which I want.

Looks good!

Re: Supernatural Props.What Ya Got...

yes it does appear some of the faces are slightly different..looks like some are a little more profile as where some are straight on..nice work so far. I think the silver/pewter is the way to go...can't wait to see your progress on this build. :love

Re: Supernatural Props.What Ya Got...

Got a bit of free time, decided to make some shells.

Thought an actual phoenix ash shell would be pretty cool, and they came out pretty well!

The flash kinda washes out the picture a bit.

Decided to load up some salt rounds as well. Loading these things into the bandoleer is a pain in the ass :lol

Thanks comedian, you are a huge help...its just nice to see that these items are still actually out there. i cannot imagine the amount of hours some spend (as i know the large amount i do) looking for these items. i know for a fact it took me 4 months just to find my high polish nickel plated 1911 .45, tho thats mainly because i live in illinois LOL B-)

I'd love to see some pics and hear how much you paid if you don't mind - as that's the main Supernatural prop I plan to make a real replica of (by make I mean buy an actual 45 and have it engraved/add the grips if needed).

Re: Supernatural Props.What Ya Got...

Welp here she is, my Rock Island Armory M1911A1-FS, High Polished Nickel Plated in .45acp (of course "****** and locked"). The last thing i need for it are the ivory grips like deans. total was $535 but worth every penny as these are not easy to come by in my neck of the woods lol :)
