I made an angel blade for my daughter. It was my first prop and I made it out of wood. Not perfect but she loves it.

That's ok...but was actually semi excited..was thinking...$800....? Could I?....lol Then once I realized it was more....the quick voice in my head said....NOPE....lol

Has it been confirmed yet exactly which base 1911 is actually used in the show? Some of the details cross a few manufacturers off the list immediately, but there are so many out there.

Edit: Answered my own question... Looks like it's a Series 70 Colt according to projectthx138.

Just wanted to share with you guys my 1911 Colt 45 MK IV Series 70. i bought it about a month and a half ago, still gotta find the ivory grips with the silver medallion and get it engraved.

To EVERYONE that has bought Bobby's Flask from Russ, this is a quick note to let everyone know that Russ has sent me all the Flask (they came in Friday when I was out of town) to mail out to everyone. These Flask will be sent out to everyone by US Priority Mail Wednesday (10-31-12) which is Halloween.....:cool It just happends to be that Halloween will be my first chance I can get my ass down to the post office...................:$ However it is pretty cool that everyones haunted Flask will be mailed out on Halloween................:love

Megs' goblet ongoing. Got the curves of the base to a place where I'm happy with it, and figured out where I want the pattern to repeat. I believe it repeats just once.

First I made a mold for all the faces:

And after making a few copies I started working on the base.

Once I got the curves where I wanted them, I attached to the base of the bowl.

I'm going to start heatforming the faces to the goblet next, and additionally add some apoxiesculpt to attach the base more firmly to the bowl as it is intended. Getting closer :)
