Supernatural Props.What Ya Got... 4 Years 2010-2014

Re: Supernatural Props.What Ya Got...

Yes you may, sir.

I found it at a site called gunbroker.com after searching for about a year and a half there and at another called auctionarms.com (which has since been rebranded, but that url will still get you there, I believe). I discovered gunbroker while on the trail of a Japanese cap-firing replica of the Paterson that ran around $350.00, and I started thinking that - if I was willing to pay that much - perhaps I should look into the real deal.

I have seen the "Extra Deluxe" on both sites before - but the auctions have always moved insanely out of my price range. Like Hydin, I figured I could find the regular one and have it engraved - then this one just popped up with a "Buy It Now" price point that I felt...okay about - so I took the plunge.

I get the sense that you might have considerably deeper pockets than mine, so you may have an easier time finding a Pietta Extra Deluxe that works for you. Good luck, my friend - I really love your collection, and this would make a great add.

Deep pockets, I think not. Hell my pockets are so shallow that I can't even put my hands in them................:$ I will however go in over my head for the correct prop (which seems to happen a lot) as I'm pretty anal about my stuff. I too am on gunbroker a lot and I have never seen the deluxe model on there. You have a very choice piece there my friend and I am very happy for you on finding it......:) If you ever come across another one drop me a line as I would love to try and get one of these for my collection. Thanks for the nice words on my collection as I try my best on getting the best I can get.

Thanks for getting back with me and if you ever need any Supernatural info give me a shout.

It has arrived!

Gorgeous! Any chance it'll go into some silicone?

I don't have the skill for such things, but if someone wanted to step up to the plate, I'd be interested - so long as I could trust that the mold would be flawless, that casts would be of quality stuff, and the original gun would return to my hands unharmed.

There is also the matter of a Colt project being undertaken by Hydin. The guy has come through for the Supernatural fans here in tons of ways, and the last thing I'd want to do is step on toes.

actually if Hydin chose your gun to use instead..all that would be neded is the engraving in the grips and the enscription on the barrel....the rest of the scroll work is there already....actually probably be cheper to cast yours and then cast his barrel separetly....beens his barrel will have the enscription. :love

Re: Supernatural Props.What Ya Got...

I was fully planning on having the barrel engraved, as well. And I've been looking into reworking a cylinder so that it at least looks like it fires cartridges.

Re: Supernatural Props.What Ya Got...

YEAH WELL NOBODY LIKES YOU RUSS, SO WHATEVER!! :D

Dude...I'm so jealous of all of you guys with Metallicars!!

Re: Supernatural Props.What Ya Got...

Hell of a addition to the collection man!

Let me talk to my engraving guy, and see where he is at with the process. Who knows, this might speed it up a ton.

Also, for those who have ruby daggers and want to display em :

That little crystal knife holder is actually pretty awesome. 5$ shipped. Not shabby at all.

It's not the best picture, but I think it came out pretty good.

Re: Supernatural Props.What Ya Got...

So jealous of this btw. I can't even track down the cooler:cry

The cooler is actually fairly common. I got mine from eBay a few weeks back, and there was 2 of them on their at the same time. I got outbid on one, which was in mint condition, but the 2nd had a Buy-It-Now and I wasn't missing out again - so I grabbed it. The only reason it took me so long to get one was because, due to its size, sellers either wouldn't ship it outside North America, or they were charging an arm & a leg to do so.

Keep an eye on Kijiji. I've seen dozens of them on there over the past few years.

With the show being shot in Canada, I'd suspect most of their store bought props are from there. I've seen more of the exact green coolers with Canadian sellers than any other location - it's not uncommon for a company to offer products in different colours/features to different regions.

I'm so jealous of these awesome replicas, and I hate you all, and I'm so jealous, and thinking of selling my family to buy more things to go with my Ozymandias amulet, so thanks SO MUCH guys. Also I'm so jealous, did I mention that?

-_-

Seriously though these are some pretty schweet pieces, especially that colt, it's coming along veeeeery nicely! I love all the things! :D

Re: Supernatural Props.What Ya Got...

Hey there guys, thought I'd throw my hat in the ring here. I know this stuff isn't NEARLY as accurate as some of your's, but I'm pretty happy with the collection itself. I've got a 12 gauge sawed-off pump action shotgun, a 12 gauge sawed-off double-barrel coach gun, Dean's necklace, Sam's Taurus, Dean's 1911 Colt, THE Colt, Dean's knife (need to get the handle changed out for a stag horn grip), as well as two jackets that I've owned for like a decade and a half that look pretty similar to those used on the show in Dean's wardrobe. Not pictured, I also have an assortment of Rocksalt Shotgun shells, silver buckshot shells, and Rosary bead shells, but those are in my monster hunting kit though.
