Studio scale Tantive IV

I finished the base plate today. I laminated the core clapboard sandwich with styrene and added some detail to make it more interesting to the eye :lol
I also shortened the mounting rod 12 cm to give the model a more balanced look.

:love Love it!!!!!! :love
:eek :eek :eek :eek :eek :eek :eek

Your modeling work is magnificent!

Don't play games with me, your highness. You weren't on any mercy mission this time.

That is going to look sick with paint on it! I'm sure the finished model will be an equal to the filming miniature.

Can't wait to see you paint her, maybe another one of your fantastic videos coming up Lasse, hint, hint.

I am filming a lot of stuff that i do on this build, eventually i will post another video...

Lasse, she's incredible !! And the stand is very cool by itself ! You did an awesome job and like everyone here, I cant wait to see her in her weathered livery !

Thanks guys! :)
There is quite some work left before this baby can be painted. I find myself walking around it dreaming of the day it is finished. I am hard at work on the rest of the details around the engines and the thruster assembly itself. I am also making another video, more focused on the mood of the build than any technical aspect alone....

Ooohhh, great news on the videos Lasse, can't wait to see them!.
Your previous vids were just incredible, but the real kicker is how you make it look so easy lol!.
Must be an absolute pleasure for you to detail the areas with your own parts & style that ILM didn't, especially as you said, around the engine areas.
Truly astounding!

...am I remembering right that you rebuilt the hammer head front.

I have more respect for how cool this ship is. I bet you do too.

Like it? I LOVE it. What a great video, so well shot, and a huge insight into how you pull this work off Lasse, never seen Liquid adhesive used in such a neat and tidy way lol.
Love the trooper buckets at the end, you guys, really are having fun, thanks Lasse, please, may we have another come paint time.....please? :lol

besides the incredible build itself . I really like that fact that you are in ,what looks like, a cramped location doing it all. No huge studio or elaborate set up. Just on a kitchen table. I am inspired by how you do it more than the model itself. Donor kits that you like and use. Not the " correct , cannon" kits .

I hope you continued success ,
