Correct. They’re the same model. ILM spruced it up with some photo-etched bits and a new paint job for its appearance as Kronos One.

Hmmm, there seem to be quite a few added parts on the Kronos One...might be worth modelling an extension kit?

So with the aft section done, the primary modelling is complete...took a bit longer coz I decided to go back and clean up the topology. Next up is the kit parts...I'm still working on collating all the info but I've got plenty to get on with;

I think FASA had three cargo doors in the port side manta.

I seem to remember blueprints showing little disruptor turrets—where there were just stacked plates.

OK, so the detailing of the head section was an absolute beast to model...nearly everything is weird compound curves and asymmetry, but the whole of the head section is now done;

The head 'bulb' is hollow, to accommodate wiring/batteries etc for the lights

The 'deck' is cut to fit the main top dome and the bulb parts

and the whole thing should fit onto the neck shaft, which has a hole for the truss rod

Gorgeous work, the details are breathtaking! What software are you using, if I may ask?

Thanks, I'm using Blender and Zbrush but the renders are in Blender 4.2. So a quick update...got the details done for the Neck/Hull area. Just the Bridge and the back end to do;
