Yeah, although the story group is free to have some fun I doubt they will include any additions to canon that would greatly effect the films. They know enough to avoid the "you have to read the book or comic to understand the film" issue.

Well one is called First Order Special Force Tie. I bet that's the two man Tie Poe and Finn use to escape and is seen in the second trailer.
