I was able to see a bootleg of the scene after TPM, I enjoyed it. Had matrix vibes

Like I’ve said with Ahsoka, it’s new Star Wars.. will it ever replace the OT in my heart?! H3ll no!

But it’s entertaining… somewhat lol

Just seeing Carrie Ann Moss in it just reminds me too much of the Matrix. I'm so far behind of all this bloatedness of Star War stuff, you just get to the point where you just don't care anymore.
As much as we hated waiting years in between the older movies, they did really help build up suspense.
I can’t say I don’t care.. but I don’t take it seriously anymore. When Disney bought it and erased all canon, I was exited for something fresh, and LIVED every day for it.. bought every book every comic; listened to every thing Star Wars dot com posted

I was going through one of the hardest times in my life and I used ep8 as a coping mechanism… boy was I really upset leaving the theater..

My biggest fear was “what I’m I going to use now to distract myself with what’s going on in my life?” Because of the major major let down..

It took me awhile to understand, to never depend on something like that again, never hype anything like that again.. and from then on out, I never took anything Disney has produced seriously

Sure do enjoy watching what they come up with, costumes, weapons, space creatures, props

But as for story.. it is what it is for me.. I don’t take anything to heart anymore

And after all these years.. gods honest truth.. with the luck I’ve had.. i now love grumpy… and that’s the honest truth

Yeah....I guess the hardest part, being the fans we all our, is we WANT to care, at least like we used to. Disney is just not making this easy.

I remember before Episode 8, you were trying to avoid everything possible to go in fully surprised and hoping for something good.....
such a bummer that they did it like that.

Exactly what I did, I avoided everything. Left all the Star Wars groups on Facebook.. the week before my showing on scrolling through Facebook and I see this old man ghost looking thing in my ghostbusters group

… it was a snoke leak

I was pissed

Well, in the end, guess you didn't really miss anything...sadly though.
I remember in 1998, my friend and I did everything we could to avoid seeing any part of Godzilla for that movie coming out.
One of the Taco Bell ads showed parts of his leg stopping down....which I saw....nooooo.
Of course they never showed more than that anywhere. Once we finally did see it, its like, what was that?
Another friend joked with us, saying that this American version of Godzilla's chin alone could wipe out a whole entire city.
Guess the movies we get the most hyped for seem to be the biggest ones to let you down the most.

They're doing good at hiding Plo Koon if he's in it, other than that shot in the first trailer.
