I keep trying to reconcile Star Trek…

(Patiently awaiting the episode which reveals Kruge’s dog is actually a sentient slave, in a loud and clumsy racism metaphor made ‘for modern audiences’. Maybe Kruge can call him “Toby”, and LeVar Burton can guest-star as his liberator.)

No need to reconcile TOS with SNL... err... SNW. Alternate timeline, remember? TOS' timeline has Khan as a full grown adult and ruler in the 90s.

Actually, in the episode just watched they pay homage to the fact that Khan originally came to power in the 90's and it's stated that his being a child in the mid 21st century is due to timeline shenanigans by the Romulans, who are attempting to thwart human development. I found it to be a plausible and interesting way to retcon old canon without discarding it completely.
