Solid Metal Terminator Pewter T-800 Bust Replica Prop (WIP)

I cut down all the bolts to the correct length today, so everything can bolt together nicely. Also made a little bracket for the chest piece and tapped a hole so the chest can be mounted. In the next few days I will be welding the last supports with the help of a friend. Then it’s just painting the metal base. It will then be finished! I can’t wait. It’s all fiddly little bits now but I can taste the finish line.

Got the welding finished on the steel frame today. Just black paint to go over the primer now and it’s done. The bust should be finished in the next day or so. I can assemble when the paint is dry.

The bust is complete!

I will be adjusting the shoulder hoses as they are pretty stiff so don’t bend easily and stick up pretty high. But other than that, I’m well impressed.
2.5 years of hard work.
Never give up if you have a dream!

The back of the base has a kill switch for the electronics, also a micro USB charger for the lithium ion battery in the base.
The T-800 eyes can be turned on using the chrome remote control that has a CPU chip keyring.
Also a shot from behind the bust.
