Yes it really is. It's the finish and overall attention to detail that is pushing this above other similar T800 busts I have seen. You've achieved that 'wet look' effect, reminiscent of the intro scene in T2 with the skull coming through the flames. Awesome!
Thanks dude, yeah that’s the exact prop I wanted to replicate. That prop was also made from bronze and chrome plated.
Some pictures or original prop and info from when it was sold at auction for around $75,000
Hero solid bronze screen-used T-800 Endo skull from Terminator 2: Judgment Day - (Carolco, 1991) Following the Future War introduction of T2 depicting the flame-engulfed playground following Judgment Day, the upper torso and skull of a T-800 Endoskeleton is surrounded with flames, slowly moving towards camera. This was a practical effect performed by casting parts of the Endoskeleton in solid bronze and chrome plating it. Purchased two weeks prior to the release date of the film, the skull was donated by Stan Winston of Stan Winston Studio. This is the only solid bronze Endo skull made for the production. Signed by both Stan Winston and Arnold Schwarzenegger at the top of the head using an engraving tool. The vertebrae are original as are the compression rods which exhibit some traces of scorching. Display base was made at Stan Winston Studios
