Terminator T2 T-800 Endoskeleton 1:6 enquiry.

Members of the RPF,

I've always dreamed of owning a Terminator endoskeleton, but unfortunately, I've never had the funds to make it happen. Still, I've spent years admiring builds from afar, always holding onto the hope that one day I might create one myself.

Recently, I came across the 1:6 scale Prime 1 Studio version — a true masterpiece — but it's priced far beyond what I could ever afford. That got me thinking: if I can’t buy one, why not build one?

I’ve seen many 3D-printed endoskeletons online, but often they lack the quality and accuracy I'm looking for, especially when they’re designed as static statues rather than articulated figures.

My goal is to 3D print the individual pieces and then have them reproduced in metal. I have limited knowledge in this area, but I’m willing to work with 3D printing companies and other professionals to make it happen. My first step is to find detailed 3D files that break the endoskeleton down into individual parts so I can begin a mock build.

I know this community is full of passionate, skilled individuals, and I would really appreciate any advice, resources, or guidance you could share to help me get started.

Thanks so much for taking the time to read this.

Hey man.... reproducing the pieces into metal are going to make the prime statue cost pennies in comparison, lol, just try and save for the prime. Ive gotten lucky with my endoskulls. Some of my collection started off with broken items I fixed - jsut keep looking.

machining all the individual parts will cost you .... an unfathomable amount. An easier approaching will be Metal casting, which is still is a tedious skill that is expensive to start, but even then... still VERY VERY time consuming and expensive.

skynet-2029 has some amazing endos that with a little paint come out looking awesome, check these 1/4 scale resin prints
( im currently in the process of a full scale one, but will make modifications to the head from another maker and add acrylic teeth )

and to be honest, these heads look better than primes.
