The short ones hold the steel rod in the emitter nipple. The long ones hold the emitter cap in place

Guy,I have a hard time taking you seriously. Why would you ever buy this saber when you knew from the start you were going to crap all over it when you got it? I mean, you've been crapping all over it from day one and you don't know the first thing about the prop. Less than I do even - and I'd put some money down on that - and believe me, I don't know half as much about the prop as some others here.
It's like a vegetarian walking into a steak place to complain about meat. Then they order the best steak on the menu and when it arrives they complain it's not a salad. FFS.

It was a difficult thing Dan did, trying to satisfy prop enthusiasts and FX builders at the same time. I personally know quite a bit about this prop and I've still struggled with things. Quite frankly it is the only real accurate V2 on the market, and it was a chance I was not going to pass up. It's a marvel of a design.
That being said, I have my misgivings and there are things I wish were different or wished were already included and that's still a valid feeling.
Still going to be a crown jewel of my collection. I've used Dan's V2s to explain the engineering behind Star Wars at lectures and presentations

First off I never crapped all over this,you Are the one complaining about me every time I voice a concern or share my opinion.if my memory serves me correct this was supposed to be th most accurate v2 ever made and no compromises on accuracy will be made for the electronics.so why wouldn’t I get on this run?im sure I’m not the only one who was expecting something a little different. I’ve never gotten an fix saber,I thought this was gonna fall somewhere I’m the middle,it could be either fx at accurate prop but now it’s in hand I see an fx saber.i never said Dan didn’t do a good job,in fact I am still hoping he does a second run with the insides closer to the three piece.i don’t play with my props,I’m looking for as close to accurate as I can get.so obviously shoving a rod down this or adding weights is not an option. I’ve never seen th inside of the prop but I doubt it’s got weights in it .

Bro, count the number of lines. Easy! Some people like myself ordered more than 1. Looks like 174 if there aren't any extras. I just copied/pasted the whole list into my coding word processor and voila. 174.
Got my shipping email today. Thursday is gonna be GREAT! Now if only my clamp card could get here by then, everything would be amazing.

drop your pommel 1-2 mm away from the body! when it's slid all the way in your set screw is tightened against a step instead of a flat surface
