SD Studios - What does Steve Dymszo owe you?

Can I please make a request that people on this thread not ruin Steves rebelscum thread. I've been enjoying it till you guys chimed in. We all make bad deals in our lives and I've made my share and money I'll never see again. Just remember most of us like the guy. I've been on other threads in the past where everyone praises him and then someone that's had bad dealing in the past ruin it. I can't go anywhere around here without having to read negative comments. Here we go again on rebelscum. Seems I can't enjoy discussions anywhere I go. Very much apreciated and thank you in advance.

Dude...just...NO. :facepalm

"Glad" to see the thread on rebelscum has come to a screeching halt.

My hat off to Rich, and / but especially to Tom, for their perseverance in this invaluable assistance to fellow members :thumbsup

As has been pointed out dozens of times in this thread, I urge all who are owed money to pester Steve wherever they can, in public, on the net.

This is the only way you are going to get your money back.

I'm afraid I can only agree with Alan... Stephen is a master in hiding when things become "hot"... The best tactic still is going after him personally: ask for your money in the comments of the youtube video's of the Falcon, for instance... Go to Amazon and find resellers of Artifactory stuff and contact them. Post reviews of his stuff where you ask about your money and point them to this URL: http://virtualvenesect.com/tag/stephen-dymszo/...

I think it will stop here again. Stephen will try again to hide until things become quite again... Only hurting his wallet / business will help. I'll follow up to see if Stephen still answers, but in the other case: go for it, guys! Don't let this guy get away with stealing thousands of dollars and then pretend he's the best guy in modelmaking business!!!

Did someone already contacted De Agostini and explain Stephen history to them? These people have every right to know that Stephen is a fraud, in my opinion...

and here I am trying to scratch out a living while that tool keeps on going... taking more people's money. :angry

I don't f'in get it.

If he does not know he does now.

Sadly this is a prime example of one of the bad things in this hobby.

As long as one gets his swag who cares how may other members have been robbed by him.

He has done runs on other boards and quite a few members here have supported him :unsure

I really don't understand any of that. When i was getting ready to buy from Steve, if someone had said "this guy took my money" i wouldn't just say "oh well hopefully that's an isolated incident." I would demand an explanation from both parties and not send money until it was worked out to my satisfaction. If that sounded unfair, he could choose not to do business with me. That's just the nature of the business of selling things anonymously online.

Just jumping in as I thought I was in the original list of the old thread.

I'll just report i've been communicating "from time to time" with Steve and he was always replied every single email.... which of course wasnt about refunds, but seeking solutions to "the problem" (debt). Sometimes I asked him about this or that thing to do and cover such with the debt, some others, if this or that thing on his for sale list was still available, or sometimes if he was still continuing doing the neuras run. I must admit every time i asked about the neuras there was silence, but any other question was promptly answered.

So far, after so many time, I just returned here to the RPF because I totally forgot, believe it or not, how much i was owed (sigh) because in a recent Google Mail cleanup (wheres that "You'll never have to delete email again!" campaign, MR Google??) i totally messed my RPF communications, threads and such.

I was owed one standard and one Deluxe Neuralyzer plus two Lawgivers.
I've learned the Neuralyzers came up to $890
I THINK the Lawgivers were $.....275? 475 each? anyone? the fully featured, airsoft+lights+sound version ones!

Steve, so far, has sent me back one Lawgiver and one of his Luke sabers worth of $275.

So I'm still short of the rest. This is ($890+$475)-$275 if the lawgiver price is right.

While I feel the pain on most of you, and while I do understand the pissing on many of you, I've been REALLY cheated on other places like crowdfunding sites, so while Steve has been "cooperative" and "communicative" (and so far, he is still communicating even if he's doing it when you put pressure on him) it seems he's still there to work things out, NOT to do what scammers do: take money, RUN, and NEVER HEAR FROM THEM AGAIN, EVER.

People throw around the term "scammer" around way to easily. Every time someone has been wronged, the offended party screams SCAMMER! (I recently read a post where someone paid for an item then was refunded immediately because the seller found that the item was actually damaged beyond repair and didn't want to send it out in it's current condition. The seller wanted the item in it's promised condition, and though he got his refund back is calling the seller a scammer :facepalm see what happened there?)
It's important to remember that a scammer is someone who sets out to commit ill intent. I think we can all agree this is not Steve. True, he has handled this whole situation poorly and bit off more than he could chew thus his banning. However, I don't feel that the term applies. If there is proof that he started selling the neurolizers with no intention of delivery, then yes, he is a scammer. But that is simply not the case. Could someone call him a thief? Possibly, but not a scammer.
I'm just saying, if you want to insult the man, go ahead. Just insult him properly! :lol

I am with my buddy Funky Jedi. He is not a scammer.

He is just a low down rotten dirt scumbag who has no problem not re-paying what he owes. Bottom of the barrel garbage. But not a scammer.

:D:lol:lol:D

Hey I am apparently getting a divorce so what the hell do I care.

Tom

No offense but what this mess needs is clarity, not semantics. He took money from people and never delivered, period. Wether he intended to rip people off all along or only came to that conclusion at a later date is irrelevant, he may not have started out as a thief but he is one now.

Funky is just saying the guy did not plan to take peoples money. He is not defending him in any way. Funky just likes to be precise I have noticed.

Steve needs to spend less time making painting videos for Deago, even though I love them, and spend every waking moment getting things built and sold to pay people what he owes them. Nothing else.

Tom (The soon to be single prop collector.)

I know, and i'm saying it dosen't matter what he planned to do, only what he did do. It's been what, five years? We're way past good intentions.

No disagreement there.

If this guy owed me money I would be everywhere. He would not be able to post anything anywhere without everyone knowing he owed me money. I would make youtube videos with his name in the title talking about every cent he owed me.

Ironically I really like his videos. If I did not know what he has done I would have thought he was a super cool guy.

Tom

Comes as no surprise, just wait untill the day Steve screws them! :lol

His defenders seem to be coming back to the Rebelscum thread. Treating this like it is the victims' fault and that Steve is just being bullied and stalked. WOW!
