Scratch Build SD

Worked on the detail piece going around the hanger under the SD.
Much easier to work on the kitchen table the glue the finished piece onto the ship rather than leaning over to glue all the parts on.

Just a few more parts to add then it will be glued into place.
 
That thing is huge!...great job so far..!...what type of glue are you using..? I see corflute and styrene as some of the substrates, did you use just one type of glue or different types depending on the material...?

I started using coreflute plus I have used foam board 3mm and 6mm this stuff has a pvc lining that you can glue you greeblies directly to it using normal model glue.
Yes I did use many different glues in the construction Super Glue, Hot melt glue and Sika flex.

Adding more detail resin strips to the side of the bridge section.

Next cut holes behind the panels for fiber optic lighting.

Add Panels spaced out 45mm.

Add the top then start adding a row of panels again cutting holes behind so it is easier to light.

We start filming miniatures in 2 weeks, will you be ready in time?
....says the film producer.....
Does this even qualify as a "miniature"?
