I have been slowly working on my real life MGC E-11 prop, but I also wanted to have the ability to make an accurate 3d printed copy of the gun as well. Here is my attempt at crafting a 3d model of the ROTJ E-11 for the purpose of 3D printing in SLA. I carefully measured every facet of the original base gun, and finished it off by applying my e-11 greebles on top. I also did a 3d scan of the plastic handle grip, but I am still working on making it a bit better. I still have quite a bit more work to do on it, mostly just small details and corrections. The scope ring is still a work-in-progress. I still have the gun hammers to work on, and I have a few tweaks to make to the firing block greeble. I already have 75 percent of the model printed out in tough SLA resin, which should arrive next week. I will be having a few more parts printed out shortly.
