I started a glove a couple of weeks ago to help get an overall arm length, but I didn't pursue it any farther. I'd never 3d modeled a glove before, so I took a hand model and built over it for scaling. IN THEORY :lol the gloves should fit and have decent range of motion once scaled. If you want them, I'll extend the wrist on the model (so it could be slipped inside the forearm) and make it peppable. The knuckle ridges are separate. Here's the glove as it is now:

****ADDED****
I forgot to say, I finished 90% of the helmet top in paper pep at 11.5 scale, and it is HUGE on me (I'll try to get a pic up tomorrow). So I'm guessing the scale I want is much closer to my default 9. Once I get the jaw done I'll take some dimensional measurements so that I won't be building this a third time in paper :confused

If nothing else the hands would at least give a good basis for folks to go with. That is if you don't mind working on them. my friend is going to be busy helping if she gets to visit me this summer. I have a bunch of suits i want to do lol

Okeedokee, I'll extend the wrist and add edging to the fingers for pepping. :thumbsup

Re: Robocop: The Original for Pepakura **UPDATE->Shoes added**

That looks awesome! Great color too, how did you manage that?
Thanks! The color was just from a couple rattle cans. Used Krylon Outdoor Spaces Metallic Finish silver paint for the base coat and Duplic-color Medium Maui Blue Met automotive paint for the shading.

Just prepped the foam with a few coats of white glue.

That looks as good as some prizmatics I was checking out. :thumbsup

...Just posted a glove up. I extended the wrist to slide cleanly into the forearm and put the individual fingers on their own pages in the pep.

I think everyone doing a suit should start a thread! It would not only show how popular Robot is, but it would also give the "There's too many Iron Man builds" complainers some solace :lol

Re: Robocop: The Original for Pepakura **UPDATE->RT Bicep & Lt shin foam added**

Updated, Gaiatron you are AWESOME. I seriously look at these foam templates and don't want to mess with cardstock anymore. It just looks so much EASIER. Excellent work as always.

Haha I know right? I just hope that this will work as a good starting point for somebody. I love Iron Man, but it is easy to get burned out on him here :lol I'd like to model and build the Mark I (cave suit) though. Also wanted to model and build a Johnny 5, but that's an expensive undertaking (and there's a guy with much deeper pockets than me already working on it) :love
Nice files :)

Thank you! I've been following your freehand suit; that thing is SICK (y)thumbsup:thumbsup

Re: Robocop: The Original for Pepakura **UPDATE-> HELMET FOAM TEMPLATES POSTED**

nope bro, that's laellee's work. give the credit to him hehehe oh btw, did you use the default scale or did you resize it?

My bad! Major props to laellee for the files! Well, I'm almost done with the foam left arm, far from perfect but good enough for me. The only drawback was where your armpit it, majorly had to make the hole bigger for my arm to fit it there. Then again my arm is kinda big...lol I think I'm going to start the chest/back now. Do you think I can just cut the left side and flip all the pieces to make the right side?

Re: Robocop: The Original for Pepakura **UPDATE->Shoes added**

Dude, that's pretty sweet! Did you make the guns too?
Thanks :) I'm really happy with the way it turned out :)

for the guns, the one on the left is the airsoft Matrix Aliens Pulse Rifle, and the one on the right is my Nerf pulse rifle I designed. There's a huge thread on it here: http://www.therpf.com/f9/nerf-aliens-pulse-rifle-build-142668/ if you want to see the build process :)

I guess I missed reading your question the first time!?!??! The left and the right biceps are not identical, so flipping the patterns won't work (unless you just want them to be identical) The left bicep has more panel lines, and also a different rear detail. I guess it all depends on your personal preference though.
On that note, the only parts that can be flipped are the shins and shin pistons, the gloves, the shoes, and the upper and lower forearms.
Keep up the good work!

great work!!!, been looking for these for a long time, Thank You :thumbsup

Thanks for commenting!
